    Abstract: A metal frame for eyeglasses is provided which includes a pair of rims, each of which is configured to surround and support an eyeglass lens, and a locking bar secured to each of the rims. The locking bar and the rim to which it is secured are separated by a separation slot so as to divide the rim and the bar into first and second rim portions and first and second locking bar segments respectively. A jacket having an internally threaded bore is coupled to the first locking bar segment to prevent movement thereof relative to the first locking bar segment towards the second locking bar segment, and a locking bar screw is detachably coupled to the second locking bar segment and is in threaded engagement with the bore of the jacket.

A die mounting for said piercing-and-forming die and a punch mounting for said flattening punch are sequentially and separately operable, respectively, by two hydraulical piston and cylinder arrangements which effect movement thereof relatively to said piercing-and-forming punch. The transducer comprises a piezoelectric substrate, at least one interdigital electrode group arranged on the surface of the piezoelectric substrate, each of said groups having a plurality of interdigital electrodes arranged in the longitudinal direction of the fingers of each interdigital electrode, said substrate being positioned in a liquid so that at least said interdigital electrodes contact with the liquid, and said electrodes being applied an alternating voltage with a predetermined phase difference thus providing a convergent sound beam in y-direction based upon the principle of interference between the sound beams, similar to the interference by a diffraction grating. Further, the non-uniform arrangement of the fingers of the interdigital electrodes provides the x-direction convergence, thus, an ultrasonic wave beam focusing at a single point is obtained.

    Abstract: In accordance with the inventive method, a one-sided coated element, in particular a screen element, is provided with a bonding agent after being cleaned. Subsequently, form elements are inserted into the openings of the elements from the rear side thereof which completely fill the openings and extend therethrough. Thereafter, the coating is applied in a lesser thickness than the height of the protruding form elements. This assures that, with a comparably thick coating, openings of a predetermined geometry are created. For this purpose, a device is preferably used having bars which consist of adjacent, successive tapered , pyramid- or horizontal prism-like form elements. The form elements consist of an elastic material which taper into a sharp pointed edge. Thereby, the form elements may be easily installed and removed and the coating runs off the form elements during application, so that the openings are not covered up by the coating material.

The form inserts are in the form of U-shaped clamps so that only the pubic bone and the coccyx are engaged. The form insert for the bra forms cups, each of which encompasses the corresponding breast by more than about two thirds. The swim trunks, as well as the bra, may be simply attached to the body portions to be covered. The fabric cover of the form inserts may consist of any given material. An advantageous feature of the inventive swimsuit is a minimum covering of the body, which still conforms to the ethical national laws, while simultaneously having a maximum esthetic effect and, finally, affording a very economical way of making.

    Abstract: A method of producing a gypsum plaster board. This method includes a step of preparing a starch paste which is effective to bond the gypsum core member and both paper boards. In this step, first, about 10-30 wt % of starch such as corn starch based on water is added to water and mixed to obtain milk of starch. Next, about 0.1-1.5 wt % of amylolytic enzyme such as .alpha.-amylase based on the starch is added and then heated to the decomposition point of the starch with stirring. After the heating is stopped at the range of DH 0.1-10, about 0.8-1.0 wt % of an enzyme deactivating agent based on the starch is added and mixed with water to prepare a starch paste. After the starch paste being prepared by the aforementioned process, a raw material of the gypsum core member, that is, calcined gypsum, reinforcing agent such as glass fiber, weight reducing agent such as surface active agent and the starch paste are mixed with water to obtain gypsum slurry.
