    Abstract: A computing device which runs non-pageable real time and pageable non-real time processes is provided with non-pageable real time and pageable non-real time versions of operating system services where the necessity to page in memory would block a real-time thread of execution. In one embodiment, a real time operating system service has all its code and data locked, and only supports clients that similarly have their code and data locked. This ensures that such a service will not block due to a page fault caused by client memory being unavailable. A non-real time operating system service does not have its data locked and supports clients whose memory can be paged out. In a preferred embodiment servers which are required to provide real time behaviour are multithreaded and arrange for requests from real time and non-real time clients to be serviced in different threads.

    Abstract: A superplastically formed structural assembly is provided, as is an associated preform and method for forming such an assembly. The assembly includes a skin member and a support member that are joined to define a space between the members and between the joints. The assembly can be produced by joining the members in a flat configuration, and then forming the resulting preform to a predetermined shape of the structural assembly. The support member defines at least one aperture in communication with the space between the members. Thus, the skin member can be formed by delivering a pressurized fluid through the support member to the skin member, e.g., to superplastically form the skin member against a die that defines a contour surface corresponding in shape to the predetermined configuration of the assembly. The support member can extend in a substantially direct configuration between opposing portions of the skin member.

The sheet comprises a paperboard substrate formed of natural cellulose fibers, an internal sizing composition incorporated into the paperboard substrate so as to render the paperboard substrate substantially resistant to saturation by liquid water, and a thermoplastic polymer layer on one of the major surfaces of the paperboard substrate. The thermoplastic polymer layer faces an interior of the container and forms an inner surface thereof for contact with soil or other growing medium placed in the container.

This peptide has previously been described as an agent for inhibiting damaging effects of stroke and similar conditions via inhibition of PSD95 interactions with NMDA receptors and/or NOS. The present application provides data showing that the Tat-NR2B9c peptides is effective in alleviation of pain. The alleviation of pain can be obtained at a dose of the peptide below the dose required to inhibit PSD-95 interactions with NMDAR or NOS.
