  • Patent number: 6338654
Abstract: A connector housing has a lock arm for locking a terminal therein. The lock arm deflects in an complete insertion state of the terminal so that a spacer abuts against a side surface of the lock arm. The lock arm is formed with a projection which abuts the incompletely inserted terminal in the spacer advancing direction. The projection may be a plate piece elongated in the longitudinal direction of the lock to be pinched by a pair of a resilient contact plates of the terminal. Alternatively, the lock arm may have a protrusion engaging with an engagement hole formed in the connector housing. The protrusion is a rectangular plate extending from the fore end of the lock arm. An inclined guide surface continuos with the engagement hole may be provided in the connector housing. Alternatively, the connector housing may have an inner embossed wall positioned closely to the deflected lock arm to oppose to the spacer.

  • Patent number: 6338695
Abstract: After the engine rotational speed Ne has become below a reference rotaional speed Neo, which is lower than an idling rotational speed of the engine, and after the pressure PL of oil passages 103a and 103b has begun to decrease, for a predetermined time, the currents supplied to electromagnetic valves 45 and 46 are adjusted to generate, in each electromagnetic valve, a second biasing force electromagnetically in a magnitude that can supplement a decrease in a third biasing force which is generated by the back pressure led through an oil passage 107 and 108, respectively, and which decreases as the pressure of the oil passages 103a and 103b decreases. After the above metioned predetermined time has elapsed, the currents supplied to the eletromagnetic valves 45 and 46 are set almost to zero.

  • Patent number: 6339692
Abstract: This invention relates to a printing device that performs fixation after transfer, and which prevents the occurrence of no transfer even when feeding the paper backward starting printing from the next page after the final page. This printing device comprises image-formation units (3, 4) that transfer a toner image, a fixation unit (5), and a control unit (10). The control unit (10) control adjustment of the moisture content on either the final page or leading page. In order to do that, it lowers the fixation energy of the fixation unit (5) for the final page. There is a moisture-adjustment mechanism (16) that reduces the moisture content of the leading page. Heat energy is applied to the leading page by the fixation unit (5). This reduces the difference in the amount of shrinkage between the final page and the leading page, and prevents wrinkling of the leading page.

  • Patent number: 6339377
Abstract: An article surveillance security system with self-alarm operates at 6 through 10 MHz as a central frequency, receives a swept low level radio wave within ±5 through 15% from the central frequency, and sounds the alarm. It includes a tuning circuit (1) tuning to the central frequency, and a differential amplifier (2) for amplifying and detecting the output of the tuning circuit. The load resistance (R1) of the differential amplifier is set to 3 through 5 M&OHgr;, and the operating current of the differential amplifier is set to 3 &mgr;A or less. The base-emitter of the amplification/detection transistor (Tr1) of the differential amplifier are connected to the base-emitter of another diode-connected transistor (Tr2) to stabilize a bias drift by temperature. Thus, a receiving circuit of an article surveillance security system with self-alarm (tag) is realized with ability having a power supply of approximately four-year durability, stably operating with a very low level radio wave at 8.

  • Patent number: 6336657
Abstract: A seat-occupant restraining apparatus is provided which includes a bag, accommodated in a shoulder belt, for restraining a seat occupant in a seat, and when a vehicle collides, expands the bag with a high-pressure gas produced by an inflator. A relief valve, which opens according to an increase in the internal pressure of the bag, is provided in a gas passage for supplying the high-pressure gas from the inflator to the bag. If the bag is completely expanded by the high-pressure gas from the inflator and the internal pressure of the bag reaches an appropriate value, the relief valve opens and discharges an extra high-pressure gas from the bag, whereby the internal pressure of the bag can be controlled to the appropriate value without causing variations. According to the above-described constriction, it is possible to realize a stable air vent function superior to that of a vent hole, without providing a vent hole in the bag of an air belt assembly.
