Abstract: A two-part water-borne epoxy resin coating, the parts being mixed prior to use, part A containing an emulsified bisphenol A type epoxy resin and having a viscosity of 500 to 700 cps and part B containing an aqueous solution of polyamids-amine.
Abstract: A nut to compensate for sharpness of notes, particularly near the neck of a lute-type instrument is provided with an extending portion extending over the fingerboard. The extension increases toward the bass notes. In a guitar, an excellent extension to compensate all the intermediate strings is from 1/64th of an inch at the treble end of the neck to 1/32nd of an inch at the bass end of the neck.

Abstract: A setting and a method for mounting precious stones and the like therein is provided with a mounting having at least two rows of at least two adjacent cavities with connecting portions therebetween and configured to receive stones with the peripheral portions thereof extending over contiguous connecting portions. A deformable securing slot is formed at each connection portion by fixing at least one elongated support member to the setting between the rows of cavities in alignment with the connecting portions with the longitudinal axis thereof normal to the top surface of the setting and by fixing a deformable securing rod at intermediate points to the other ends of the support member to dispose same parallel and spaced from the top surfaces of the setting. The slots are then deformed to admit the stones and to secure them in place.
Abstract: Employing a relatively short cable in a drum with a closely spaced inner portion, an effective floor-standing drain cleaner is provided which is portable, usable in most simple situations, is light in weight and drivable by a removable electric hand drill.
Abstract: A sunroof for a car includes a glass top hingedly interfitting with a frame. The frame includes a channel which is gasketed and overlain by the glass top. The glass top is controlled by a clip having a rocker arm lockable both open and closed. The rocker arm is spring biased for easy installation and removal of the glass top. The channel, having gaskets around both its walls, prevents moisture from seeping in when closed. The top interacts with the outer gasket to prevent rain seeping in and air rushing in while open. A drain in the channel draws off water which enters the channel normally. The configuration of the clips avoids dangerous protrusions.
Abstract: A small collapsible hand truck has great strength for its size and includes a stable extendable platform almost as long as the body frame. The hand truck is adaptable to various shapes and weights of load.
Abstract: A three-part extension handle includes only two interfitting telescopic parts which provides a strong handle for a small heavy-duty collapsible hand truck. The handle has great strength. The two-part handle is fixable at the end of the upright support and includes means that release the locked telescopic portions. Collapsing the handle is the reverse procedure, leaving the handle firmly locked closed.
Abstract: A claw for use in a barrel hoop driver which allows the top hoop of a barrel to be driven beyond the barrel edge thereby allowing barrels for reuse to have their staves tightened without fitting new end hoops. The claw has spaced guide members controlling the effective depth of a blade for engagement with the hoops, the spaced arrangement of the guide members preventing accumulation of wood shavings on the blade.
Abstract: A welded wire openwork mesh as a reinforcement for honeycomb foundation in a honeycomb frame provides strength against stretching, sagging, bulging or buckling, and support of honeycomb in the frame allowing rapid centrifuging without breakage.
Abstract: A method is disclosed of providing a grouted anchorage in a base formation. A tube having a drill member at its forward end is driven into the base formation through an opening in a wall. An anchor rod is introduced once the desired depth has been reached, liquid mortar is forced through the tube to the forward end of the tube and the tube is withdrawn from the hole. The forward end of the tube is continuously kept closed, sealed from penetration by water. During the initial withdrawal of the tube a corresponding amount of liquid mortar is forced therethrough, the anchor rod being pressed against the drill tip which remains in the base formation.

Abstract: A game with a board having two long and two short sides with "pocket" areas at the corners and at the middle of the two long sides, as in pocket billiards or snooker, markers representing balls and a special direction indicator having pointers correlated with a chance device. Directional indicator being engageable with the game board at the pocket areas for attempting to "pocket" markers placed next to the pocket areas. Markers representing balls have retainers on the game board with at least one retainer adjacent each pocket area.
Abstract: An indicator system for a merchandise display rack indicates a related article as a signal is energized indicating the position of the merchandise on the rack. The signal is timed. Other signals give different indications in the same way and cancel prior indications not appropriate to the current signals indicated.
Abstract: A simple adjustable mount is insertable in the soundhole of a stringed musical instrument where it supports itself without damage to the instrument. The mounted pickup is adjustable on the mount for desired position.
