Abstract: A filling level detector for cryogenic liquids which are located in a container (1) uses a probe with a superconductor. In order to provide a filling level detector which is insensitive and costs little, the probe (11) is a flat conductor (20) which comprises a plurality of conductors which are routed parallel in a plastic matrix (21), of which a first conductor (23) is a super conductor, second conductors (24) are used to supply heating current to the first conductor (23), and third conductors (25; 25, 26) are used for voltage measurement, with the conductors in one pair (24, 25, 26) each being connected to points (27, 28 and 29, 30) which are at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction of the probe. The probe is guided in a guide in the container.
Abstract: A power generating unit consists of an internal combustion engine (1) and a generator (2), the former comprising a crankshaft (8) received in a crankcase (5) and the generator comprising a generator housing (20) connected to the crankcase (5), a stator (36) and a rotor (30) that is connected so as to rotate with the crankshaft (8). The aim is to provide a power generation unit that requires little space and that allows a precise guidance of a rotor designed for the overall unit power. A concentric stub shaft (11) is fixedly connected at the one end to the crankshaft (8) and at the other end to the rotor (30). The generator housing (20), on its side facing the internal combustion engine (1), has a front plate (21) that accommodates a bearing (23) for the sub shaft (11). The rotor (30) is otherwise overhung.

Abstract: A method is described for classifying a clutch unit for a drivetrain of a motor vehicle, wherein the clutch unit has at least one friction clutch for the controllable transmission of a torque from an input element to an output element and has an actuator for actuating the friction clutch. The airfoil portion also has a serpentine cooling passageway in at least one of the walls. In a preferred embodiment, the airfoil portion has a serpentine cooling passageway in both of the pressure and suction side walls. The airfoil has leading and trailing edges and pressure and suction sides. The blade has a substrate having a surface. A compressive stress exists below a first region of the surface. The first region extends over a majority of a streamwise perimeter of the airfoil at a location at a spanwise distance from the tip or more than 50% of a tip-to-platform span.
