  • Patent number: 8210012
Abstract: A lubrication delivery system for a rolling facility having a plurality of roll stands. A centralized lubrication source is arranged to supply lubrication to a plurality of liners within the roll stands during a rolling campaign. The lubrication source can supply one or more lubricants via controlled conduits in fluid communication with the liners. Liners are provided with a plurality of conduits for directing pressurized lubricant from the centralized lubricant source so as to minimize lubricant loss. A plurality of different lubricants may be provided at a centralized source with a controller or other device directing a flow of pressurized lubricant to the plurality of roll stands during the campaign.

  • Patent number: 8199058
Abstract: A high efficiency antenna for the 824-960 MHz and/or 1710-2170 MHz frequency ranges including world cellular and ISM bands, for use primarily on wireless communications devices such as handsets. An antenna system may be integrated within a handset as a “pull-out” whip or as an internal antenna. The antenna uses an oriented PIFA-fed resonator working in conjunction with a ground plane conductor, which can be realized as the ground traces of the PCB printed circuit board and/or an extension of the ground plane of a wireless communication device. The antenna system when installed on a handset as a pull-out whip, requires approximately one-half the extended length of current pull-out antennas, thus improving the device's aesthetic and mechanical durability.

  • Patent number: 8092193
Abstract: A self-lubricating water-cooled piston-style water pump has a unitary pump housing with a crankcase in direct water communication with the water pump inlet. A low pressure chamber is in direct water communication with the crankcase. A compression chamber is in direct pressurized water communication with a high pressure water manifold through a one-way valve. A high pressure water pump outlet extends outwardly from the manifold to the exterior of the housing. A crankshaft is connected to a connecting rod and a plunger rod, both of which are lubricated and water-cooled in the crankcase. A compression plunger has water channels therethrough connected to the plunger rod and in water communication with the low pressure chamber. The plunger is reciprocal within the compression chamber. A second one-way valve is on the plunger in the compression chamber to let water into the compression chamber.

  • Patent number: 8068905
Abstract: In one embodiment, the present invention includes a test signal generator capable of producing an impedance test signal comprising of a sine wave having a known frequency. The test signal generator may include a crystal oscillator, a counter, and a lookup table. The lookup table output is applied to a digital to analog converter and is then low pass filtered using a conventional analog filter to produce a sine wave of a known frequency and voltage amplitude. The test signal flows through the electrode and combines with an electrophysiological signal to form a combined signal. A signal processor is used to isolate the combined signal into the test signal component and the electrophysiological component. The signal processor digitally low pass filters the combined signal and the output of the low pass filter is the electrophysiological signal. The signal processor then digitally bandpass filters the combined signal using a filter with a center frequency which is the same as the test frequency.
