Abstract: A system and method for purifying liquefied corrosive gases of metallic impurities is described. The principle for this purification method relies on vapor-phase transfilling the vapor phase from a source container into a receiving container. This method has been observed to decrease metal concentrations by a factor of at least 1000 and decreases the metallic impurity levels in the resulting condensate. The vapor transfer is accomplished by controlled differential pressure rather than mechanical pumping, thereby generating no particle or metal impurities.

Abstract: After a warp beam on a loom is used up, its old warp threads are separated from a material being woven on the loom. The used-up beam, together with its residual old warp threads, is then mounted on a transport device and moved away from the loom. A winding element rotatably mounted on a maintenance device is positioned adjacent the transport device. Leading ends of the old threads are affixed to the winding element and separated from the used-up beam, whereafter the used-up beam is replaced by a new beam. Leading ends of new threads on the new beam are attached to trailing ends of respective ones of the old threads, whereafter the winding element is rotated to wind-up the old threads and parts of the new threads, while pulling the new threads through a loom device (such as a warp stop motion device, and/or a shedding device, and/or a weaving reed) carried on the transport device. Then, the winding element is rolled along a guide surface to a removal device.
Abstract: A support member preferably made of a metal such as cold rolled steel is disposed in a looped configuration and is provided with a gap. A transducer member preferably made of a piezoelectric material such as a ceramic is disposed within the support member. The transducer member is provided with a gap at a position corresponding to the gap in the support member. A closure member made from a suitable springlike material such as an alloy steel is attached to the opposite ends of the support member at the position of the gap as by welding. The closure member extends in a U-shaped configuration into the looped configuration (in section) defined by the support member and the ceramic member. The axial length of the closure member defines the bandwidth of the frequency vibrations generated by the transducer member.
