  • Patent number: 8286836
Abstract: A dispensing tube assembly includes a first component delivery tube surrounded by a second component delivery tube. The first component delivery tube provides an axial passage, and an annular passage is defined between the first component delivery tube and the second component delivery tube. A component travelling through the axial passage is diverted to enter the surrounding annular passage and mix with a second component traveling in that annular passage. The premixture formed by this mixture of components is then diverted from the annular passage into a post mix chamber and ultimately dispensed as a foam. A foam media may be employed to homogenous the premixture and create a high quality foam. The dispensing tube assembly is advantageously employed in a dispenser wherein soap and air are advanced through coaxial tubes to be mixed and create a foamed soap product.

  • Patent number: 8285440
Abstract: A collection of diagnostic and troubleshooting information associated with a power driven wheelchair is stored for access by a microcontroller to be displayed to a user to assist in troubleshooting the power driven wheelchair. A log of fault codes transmitted by various fault-detecting mechanisms is compiled. A user may request display of diagnostic information associated with a selected fault code. The operating instructions of a power driven wheelchair may be updated by using portable storage media onto which a latest version of operating instructions is loaded to transfer the updated operating instructions to wheelchair controller memory. The calibration of a power driven wheelchair can be simplified by providing functionality within the wheelchair controller to change calibration parameters or to transfer calibration parameters from portable storage media.

  • Patent number: 8267107
Abstract: A valve includes a valve housing. A bore is in the valve housing. An inlet supply port fluidly communicates a pressurized supply fluid to the bore. A piston is movably positioned in the bore based on the pressure of the supply fluid. A portion of the piston extends into a frusto-conically shaped portion of the bore. A sealing member is associated with the portion of the piston sealingly engaging a surface of the frusto-conically shaped portion of the bore based on the pressure of the supply fluid. An inlet valve, movably positioned in the bore, is biased to sealingly engage a wall of the bore based on the pressure of the supply fluid. A control pressure supply port fluidly communicates a pressurized control fluid to the bore through the valve housing. • Patent number: 8261498
Abstract: A modified flexible sealing membrane is provided for sealing the gap between the frame of an industrial window and the rough opening in which the window is received (“building gap”). The membrane is formed from a flexible sheet defining an integral projection for receipt in an adaptor connected to the window frame. On one side of this projection, the flexible sheet defines an outer membrane portion which is wide enough to seal the building gap. On the other side of this projection, the flexible sheet defines an inner membrane portion which is wide enough to seal the gap that is often found between the different structural members which combine to form the window frame (“frame gap”).
