Abstract: An athletic training device and a method for using same are shown, the device including an elastic cord; a grip, having a proximal end and a distal end, and having an axial bore therethrough; a connection member, disposed within the axial bore of the grip, said connection member protruding from the axial bore at the distal end of the grip and being adapted to connect the distal end of the grip to an end of the elastic cord, wherein said connection member further comprises a padded wrist strap, protruding from the axial bore at the proximate end of the grip and wherein the elastic cord is connected at its first end to the connection member of the grip, and the elastic cord is connected at its second end to an anchor, and wherein the elastic cord provides a resistance to force applied by a user in an athletic training exercise.
Abstract: Embodiments of a safety trailer are shown and described. The safety trailer includes a trailer body defining a protected workzone, and having a first end and a second end and king pins at both the first and second ends. Also provided is a removable caboose engageable with either of the king pins at the first and second ends of the trailer body, the caboose having a fixed king pin plate, a nose portion and at least one axle and wheels. The fixed king pin plate distributes at least a portion of the force of a vehicle colliding with the safety trailer. The caboose is also provided with a caboose receiving member, the caboose receiving member comprising an alignment device. The caboose further comprises at least one of: a vertical adjustment member adapted to maintain a level ride height, provide additional ground clearance and level the caboose; and an auxiliary mechanism adapted to engage a caboose brake system.

Abstract: Selected types of information are collected from various sources and a portion thereof transmitted to a remote server. The remote server dynamically compiles and processes this data with information from other similar and separate sources and provides useful and relevant information, such as vehicle and location specific road maintenance radar, forecasts and treatment recommendations, and then transmits the data back to the vehicles in the field for one or more of the appropriate deployment of equipment, instructions and the automated or manual application of materials.
