  • Patent number: 3964102
Abstract: An instrument for use in recording sound or data on a small disc of magnetic recording media having a pressure sensitivie adhesive backing. The center point of the recording instrument is placed in the center point of the magnetic disc. After manual release a mechanism drives a recording head around the magnetic disc causing a recording to be made on the surface of the disc. The magnetic disc can then be affixed on a flat surface of an item to identify the contents thereof.

  • Patent number: 3961556
Abstract: A locking mechanism for a man-transportable anti-tank rocket launcher tube aving cooperative mating parts on the inner and outer telescoping launcher tubes. This mechanism prevents the relative longitudinal and rotational movement of the inner tube to the outer tube when the tubes are either in the extended or retracted positions.

  • Patent number: 3955468
Abstract: A sighting and laying system to properly aim the missile gyro axis to a petermined elevation and to orient this same axis in any desired horizontal direction. These functions are performed without any preleveling of the launcher elevating and slewing mechanism and permits the missile launcher to be located on up to a 6.degree. slope in any direction.

  • Patent number: 3939052
Abstract: A system for depositing and definitely positioning optical fibers on a base material. The process includes depositing a cladding base on a plastic tape by radio frequency triode sputtering. A slitted mask is placed over the cladded tape and fiber core material is sputtered onto the cladded surface in a controlled manner to form strips of fiber cores on the cladded base.

  • Patent number: 3938439
Abstract: A device for safe containing mini-charge rounds and controlled dispersal of he rounds by tiers into a swarm of desired size and density when actuated by a fusing signal. The device utilizes chambered gas in a series of metered pressure drops to inflate diaphragms and develop controlled forces. These forces are imposed upon the mini-charge rounds to deploy the rounds from each tier by lateral force into radial patterns expanding at different rates to provide the pattern density required.
