Abstract: A product conveyor lane divider for dividing cartons, tubs, jars, boxes and various products from a single infeed product lane into two product discharge lanes. The product infeed lane feeds products onto a work or separator conveyor in single file and a driven divider wheel having lugs or separating members disposed thereon engages every other product or group of products and moves it laterally on the separator conveyor for discharge onto a product discharge conveyor which discharges the two lanes of products formed by displacement caused by the divider wheel. Apparatus is included that adjusts the divider wheel to selected various heights and an angle drive mechanism is provided for driving the wheel. The speed, angle and spacing of the lugs may be adjusted to satisfy installation requirements.
Abstract: An elongated air manifold is provided to be positioned with the manifold extending across the opening of a fireplace closed by conventional glass doors. The manifold is disposed inward of the glass doors and includes outlet openings spaced longitudinally therealong and a shiftable damper plate for variably opening and closing the outlet openings. The opposite ends of the manifold include air inlet openings with which air ducts opening to the exterior of an associated building are communicated and the air inlet openings of the manifold have valve structures operatively associated therewith for variably opening and closing the air inlet openings. The valve structures and the damper plate may be operated from within the fireplace.
Abstract: An archery target having a backstop provided with markings representing a game animal, and the like, for forming a target area on the backstop. By constructing the backstop as a rectangular parallelepiped, markings can be provided on a pair of parallel faces in order to afford a choice of targets and to reduce wear on the backstop. The latter is enhanced by including in the markings designation of areas which are the primary target area in the animal, and by offsetting these designated areas from one another. The backstop is anchored at a desired location by a pair of rods extending through holes provided in the backstop and inserted into the ground or other support surface. An elastic element stretched between the rods above the backstop holds the backstop firmly in place relative to the internal frame formed by the rods.
Abstract: A spectator bleacher structure assembled from extruded metal sections including base, end support, tread members and posts. The end support members interconnect the posts and are bridged by the tread members. The tread members have reinforcing channel flanges depending therefrom with snap-in prongs inserted into slots formed in the end support members.

Abstract: A pulling apparatus having a stand which supports a chain connected between a floor anchor and a piece of sheet metal, and the like, to be straightened. A power head is arranged engaging the chain for tightening same. The power head may be disposed along an open run of the chain, or alternatively may be mounted on the stand in place of a pulley which normally guides the chain over the stand. A plurality of hangers are provided at different heights on the frame for receiving the pulley or power head.
Abstract: A curling stone handle of one piece construction contoured to conform with the contour of the face of existing curling stones combined with a ribbed washer of plastic oriented interiorly of the cupped area only in the curling stone and a bolt extending through the curling stone and securing the handle and washer in place with the bolt including a head that will fit any curling stone recess and provided with a polygonal depression for receiving a wrench to facilitate assembly and disassembly of the handle, washer and bolt with respect to the curling stone. The washer is formed having a central bore and a plurality of radially extending ribs extending from the bore to the periphery of the washer. The ribs are provided with a flat side surface and a convex opposite curved surface, both surfaces extending substantially perpendicular from one flat side of the washer. The washer is placed between the curling stone and handle and having the ribs facing downward in contact with the curling stone.
Abstract: A sulky hitch in the form of a generally wishbone-shaped or Y-shaped assembly having two rearwardly diverging tubular members attached to the cut-off forward ends of the conventional shafts of a sulky, upwardly and inwardly curving portions contoured to the hind quarter area of a horse and a forwardly and downwardly extending member attached to an upstanding post on the forward portion of the horse's back.
Abstract: A hair grooming brush having a body from which a mirror and handle are extended in perpendicular relationship to each other upon actuation of a release button. The mirror and handle are retained retracted within cavities formed in the brush body by latches and are projected to the extended positions under the bias of springs.
Abstract: A three-dimensional, ornamental product is made by cutting a two-dimensional design out of a planar laminate and abrading the design into the final three-dimensional shape of the product, thereby exposing the different layers of the laminate in an exterior surface pattern. The laminate is formed from multi-colored sheets of paper.
Abstract: A helicopter having a small diameter and fast rotating upper horizontally disposed conventional airplane propeller and a large diameter slower and counter-rotating large diameter bladed rotor equipped with variable pitch blades is provided and the bladed rotor is mounted in such a manner that its plane of rotation may be readily adjustably canted in all directions relative to the axis of rotation of the small diameter upper airplane-type propeller. Further, the blades of the rotor may be simultaneously adjusted in pitch and a single manually shiftable control is provided for selectively simultaneously or independently canting the plane of rotation of the rotor blades and varying the pitch of the rotor blades.
