Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for ventilating the interior of a structure, and more particularly a wind scoop for directing a flow of air into the interior of a marine craft through an opening such as a hatch on the deck of the marine craft. The wind scoop has an adjustable top cover for preventing rain water from entering the opening while continuing the flow of air to the interior.
Abstract: An improved wall fastener for hollow walls, the fastener having two spreadable anchoring blades designed to spread behind the wall following insertion of a screw thereinbetween. The fastener is made of thin sheet metal which has been hardened through a heat treating process, such as quenching. Complementary engaging means on the blades are used to hold the blades together during the heat treatment and to prevent the separation thereof until the screw insertion.

Abstract: A directional and yaw control mechanism for coaxial helicopters, comprising a three coaxial ring system interconnected through a cam and link assembly for transmitting control signals from a steering station to change the rotor blade pitch either collectively to provide lift or independently in opposing directions to control yaw. Cyclic pitch control is also similarly provided.
Abstract: A push-button operated reversible socket wrench ratchet and pawl mechanism which includes in addition to the conventional ratchet wheel and pivotably mounted pawl, an actuator and two cams; the actuator is driven by the cams to engage the pawl and ratchet and determine the direction of rotation of the wheel.
Abstract: A pursuit game apparatus which includes a board divided into two segments in visual isolation of each other, each segment having a plurality of electrical connectors thereon within a design pattern and a moveable probe, with both the design and connector location being identical in each segment. Each connector on one segment is electrically connected to a connector in the corresponding location on the other segment. An electrical power supply and an indicator connected in series with the probes produce a signal indicative of positioning of the two probes in identical complementary connectors in each segment. A die and instruction card means restrict the movement and location of each probe introducing a variation of the pure chance element in the position matching process.
Abstract: To floatingly support a saw blade in a frame, the frame is formed, at its free ends, with forked elements; clamping elements are clamped to the saw. The engagement between the forked element (the blade fitting between the gap in the fork) and the clamping element is by means of a depression-projection fulcrum engagement, so that the clamping element, to which the saw blade is attached, can rock or tilt with respect to the forked element, attached to the frame, thus avoiding holding stresses on the saw blade which lead to breakage of the blade at the attachment or clamping points.
Abstract: A new and distinct variety of female holly plant, having great merit as a landscape plant due to its small dense foliage, its prolific production of berries, and its easy culture is herein described.
Abstract: A new and distinct variety of female holly plant, having great merit as a landscape plant due to its attractive foliage, heavy production of large berries, and adaptability to a wide range of growing conditions, is herein described.
