Abstract: An apparatus for deciding engine-oil replacing time for an automobile. The apparatus comprises a pulse input unit into which is inputted a pulse generated during the rotation of the engine of an automobile to calculate rotational frequency of the engine on the basis of the pulse, a rotational-frequency integration unit for receiving a signal of rotational frequency of the engine output from the pulse input unit to integrate the rotational frequency of the engine, and a display unit into which is input an integrated value from the rotational-frequency integration unit and in which a degree of oil degradation on the basis of the integrated value is displayed by a display such as a LED, a liquid crystal, a 7-segment or the like.
Abstract: The description is given of a composition, which can be added to the bituminous binder during the preparation of the bituminous conglomerate used for paving roads, for giving the conglomerate high mechanical characteristics and resistance to high and low temperatures.
Abstract: A portable leisure table having collapsible seating structure is particularly suited for convenient use. The assembly includes planar support members, a round table board (1) having a bow-shaped handle grip (3) and four round-type seats (2), and a collapsible frame support structure. The round table board support includes table supporter rods (5) and table connectors (4). Connecting rods (7) provide partial support for the round-type seats (2) and further provide support for both the table supporter rods (5) and table connectors (4). Each of the round-type seat's support includes: a collapsing control member (6) pivotally connected to connecting plates (8), located at the mid-length of the connecting rods (7); Pair of legs (9) pivotally attached to the connecting rods (7); at the terminal ends thereof; and seat supporting rods (10) pivotally connected to the pair of legs (9) providing the remaining partial support for round-type seats (2).
Abstract: Multiple pane window glass units of the type having abutting pairs of panes fitted between a head and sill. Particularly an "invisible" mullion assembly comprises of a pair of H-shaped vertical channels extending vertically between head and sill and interposed between the vertical edges of each abutting pair of panes so as to stabilize and support the panes of each pair, together with a T-shaped mullion, having an elongate shank with an outer tip vertically extending between abutting pairs of glass pane edges and a flat inner base extending vertically over abutting inner glass pane edges. An outer gasket is fitted over the end of the T-shaped mullion so as to be compressed between the abutting pairs of outer glass pane edges, while engaging said H-shaped channels. A centering guide positions the Y-shaped mullion at the abutting pairs of inner glass pane edges.
Abstract: Visors, for a cap or headpiece. Particularly, a focus vision visor in the form of one or more blinders which depend vertically from the visor, so as to limit peripheral vision. The blinders in the non-use storage mode may be secured to the underside of the visor.
Abstract: Cap storing devices, particularly a stand for supporting a plurality of caps of the type having a deformable crown and an extended visor. The stand includes a base and upstanding back, together with a curvate shelf which engages the inner periphery of a folded crown, while the cap visor extends vertically in engagement with the back. A plurality of folded caps thus may be stacked one upon the other in storage mode.
Abstract: The present invention relates to method and apparatus for asyncyhronous motor's speed regulation using strobe control, which may be carried out graded or nongraded speed regulation in conventional monospeed squirrel cage motor with simplicity, reliability, cheapness and high efficiency. It provides a notable electricity-saving result with good economical efficiency, especially in asynchronous motors speed regulation of ventillator and water pump driving. The said speed regulation method is using switch 5,6 sequentially to transmit a positive half-wave voltage and a negative half-wave voltage between the input terminals of strating and working windings of asynchronous motor 1, and then, will be repeated above said cycle continuously.
Abstract: A homogeneous multi-computer system comprises a system bus with a system data bus for transmitting data and a system management bus for transmitting system management signals, and a plurality of cell-computers having identical architecture and being connected to the system bus.
Abstract: The invention relates to polytetraflyororthylene (PTFE) anticorrosive product and the method for making the same. The product is characterized in that a metal sieve is sandwiched in PTFE layer. The disadvantage of single PTFE product namely damage of the product caused by the change of temperature and the deformation of the product caused by the cold flow property are overcome, so as to guarantee the quality of the product, and increase the service life. The method for making the PTFE anticorrosive produce is an improvement to the prior method and further comprises the step of wrapping a layer of metal sieve between two steps of winding the PTFE tape.
Abstract: Plastics, particularly a method of hydrophilic coating of plastics, for example, a contact lens, with a lubricating and visually acute mucopolysaccharide film which is immobilized upon the surface of the plastic for the lifetime of the plastic. A preferred method includes first coating the plastic with an aqueous solution of a mucopolysaccharide, drying by applying a water-miscible solvent, then crosslinking and permanently immobilizing the first coating upon the plastic by applying a solution of catalyzed organic solution aliphatic polyisocyanates.

Abstract: Hydrofoil craft, particularly a method of economically modifying a conventional hull by means of foils to obtain enhanced lift and rough water stability. The method is characterized by defining an axial tunnel(s) intermediate the bow and transom of a catamaran hull or V-bottom hull modified with chine mounted aerofoils; positioning a flexible dihedral foil beneath the water line and on either side of the bow so as to obstruct and create a turbulence in the forward end of the tunnel, while cushioning shock and lifting the bow; and simultaneously enclosing the transom end of the tunnel with a foil, so as to compress the turbulence and lift the transom.
Abstract: Processing of lithographic printing plates, particularly a method of preventing bending of the plates during processing.Conventionally, the chemical processing of lithographic printing plates includes advancing the plates between pairs of rotating brushes. The trailing edge of such plates is bent upwardly or downwardly after passing through the pairs of brushes. The present method places the pairs of brushes at an oblique angle with respect to the axis of advancing such that the leading and trailing edges of the lithographic plate laterally incrementally contact the brushes. As a result, bending is eliminated.
Abstract: A marker for felt tip pen for use on absorbent drawing materials contains an ink composition based on alkylene carbonates, or mixtures of alkylene carbonates and alkyl carbonates, as relatively high-boiling organic solvents; a water-soluble or water-dispersable dye that is virtually insoluble in the organic solvent; and water.
Abstract: A prefabricated continuous multilayer road-marking tape is described, which includes retroreflecting optical components, light emitting diodes (LEDs), solar cells, storage batteries, and reflectors and transmitters of electromagnetic waves. There are given examples of the use of the reflectors in order to control the speed of a vehicle which travels far from the tape, and examples of the use of EPROMs (erasable programmable read only memory) where messages are recorded, with the purpose of giving information about the conditions of the road, the presence of ice or of traffic jams, and so on, said messages being transmitted by a radio transmitter.
Abstract: An expandable and collapsible valise is described as rigidized and supported against distortion by at least two vertical encircling adjustable straps and one horizontal encircling adjustable strap, the vertical straps being retained in situ by means of a topmost movable batten having strap retention keepers thereon. Additional vertical strap retention keepers are at the bottom of the valise. The vertical straps overlay a horizontally disposed retention strap, adjustably supported adjacent the bottom of the valise being likewise secured against displacement. The bottom of the valise is characterized by convolute portions which, being an extension of the front and rear panels of the valise are extensible and contractible, depending upon the content volume of the valise.
Abstract: A personal alert safety system (PASS) of the type carried by firefighters, rescuers, and the like. The unit attaches to the firefighters shoulder harness and is characterized by its ability to indicate audibly temperature changes in 100.degree. F. increments within the hazardous environment, as well as lack of motion by the firefighter. The activating circuit includes a horn alarm signalling both temperature changes and lack of motion, such that both the firefighter, as well as his colleagues, may be audibly apprised.
