  • Patent number: 7175923
Abstract: An optical instrument which has an optical system that includes an ocular lens and a reticle located in the optical system, wherein a phosphorescence pigment is applied to a surface of the reticle facing toward the ocular lens, and light irradiated from outside through the ocular lens excites the phosphorescence pigment of the reticle, The phosphorescence pigment contains at least one of a phosphorescence phosphor selected from SrAl2O4: Eu, Dy; Sr4Al14O25: Eu, Dy; and CaAl2O4: Eu,Nd. The particle diameter of the phosphorescence pigment is no smaller than 1.5 ?m and no greater than 10 ?m at D50. The phosphorescence pigment is applied with a microscopic and sharp shape and thus improves visibility even in dark places. The phosphorescence pigment is applied in an amount that is no less than 1.2 mg/cm2 and no more than 50 mg/cm2. This obtains appropriate luminance and improves visibility even in dark places.

  • Patent number: 7165414
Abstract: An improved air conditioner system for controlling a desired temperature and a reduced humidity level in a space to be environmentally controlled, that comprises an additional second heat exchanger and third heat exchanger in the separate indoor air flow path. The refrigerant circuit includes an anti-migration control device between the compressor and the second heat exchanger. An anti-floodback control device is located upstream of the compressor between the first heat exchanger in the indoor air path and the compressor. An expansion control device is also located in the refrigerant circuit between the heat exchanger in the outdoor air flow path and the heat exchanger in the indoor air flow path. The second heat exchanger effectively becomes a hot gas re-heat de-superheater heat exchanger and the third heat exchanger improves the efficiency by providing additional sub-cooling. The system enhances the latent capacity for providing dehumidified air of from 25–40 percent.

  • Patent number: 7157037
Abstract: A Bi-directional rack assembly that rotates one column of threaded cores and unscrews threaded closures while moving in the forward direction. The Bi-directional rack then mechanically changes position to engage an adjacent column of rotating threaded cores and at the end of a second molding cycle rotates the threaded cores and unscrew threaded closures while moving in the reverse (reset) direction. A set of timed-advance devices are engaged by a smaller pinion gear and idler gear assemblies to the Bi-directional rack and as the Timed-Advance devices are activated, they allow pneumatic pistons to advance the stripper plate in time with the threaded closures as they are being unscrewed from the threaded cores. A second “rapid advance” pneumatic piston eliminates the need for an external rapid rise camming feature. A rotating core comprising a stock, rotating core, a stock water-seal insert and a custom core top.

  • Patent number: 7152255
Abstract: A pool return nozzle assembly, wherein water enters through the gear sleeve assembly causing the turbine blade assembly to turn, which then causes the oscillation of the gear assembly and which then contributes to the revolution of the rotor head for smooth rotation. The assembly focuses on circulating water along the walls of the pool down to the radius and floor of the pool; therefore, enhancing the effectiveness of pool cleaning and return distribution of the water to the pool. The assembly can also be converted into a water fountain with its optional fountain design, which includes a spray head to create aesthetic water spray and fountain characteristics. Internal components are configured to allow water passageways that will direct sand particulates away from working components thereby providing a self-cleaning capability.

  • Patent number: 7074338
Abstract: Using the filter auxiliary agent separated by backwashing from a filter element repeatedly and effectively, the consumption amount of a filter auxiliary agent and the generation of industrial waste can be suppressed. In a filter auxiliary agent pre-coat circuit, a filter auxiliary agent in a pre-coat tank is attached and stacked on a filter element in a filter case, and a filter auxiliary agent layer is formed. In a filter circuit, the filter auxiliary agent layer of the filter element removes sludge in the filter treatment liquid in a main tank. A backwashing circuit breaks down the filter auxiliary agent layer and a sludge layer, separates the filter auxiliary agent layer and the sludge layer by backwashing from the filter element, and circulates to the pre-coat tank. After repeating these steps a plurality of times, the filter auxiliary agent and sludge separated by backwashing are taken out to the exterior.
