Abstract: The method of the invention for automatic selection of configuration profile to a mobile phone. One or more configuration profiles are predefined in the mobile phone and one configuration profile is defined in a card inserted in the mobile phone. The method has the steps of switching on the mobile phone, comparing the configuration profile of the card with the configuration profile information in the mobile phone, and selecting a configuration profile to the mobile phone as a consequence of the comparison.
Abstract: The dropped curb finisher is for use with a slip form paving machines for forming continuous curbs and gutters. The dropped curb finisher has a vertical mounting plate, a finishing plate, an end plate and a vibrator for imparting vibration to the end plate and the finishing plate. The finishing plate extends rearwardly from the bottom edge of the mounting plate and the end plate inclines upwardly from the end of the finishing plate remote from the mounting plate. In another embodiment the present invention comprises a method of forming a dropped curb with a slip form paving machine for forming continuous curbs and gutters.
Abstract: The link auto-configuration protocol detects the topology of a dynamic synchronous transfer mode (DTM) architecture, detects and translates MAC addresses and negotiates configuration parameters in the DTM topology. The link auto-configuration protocol has at least three phases including a detect phase to detect information about the nodes in the network, an announcement phase to provide and negotiate configuration parameters with the nodes in the network and a commit phase to commit the nodes to the configuration parameters. The protocol may automatically switch between ring and bus topology configurations.

Abstract: A desk that includes a desk top that has a forward book support surface having an equilateral triangle shape that is movable between a raised position and a lowered position about a base of the support surface. The support surface has sides that each form a front side edge of the desk top when the support surface is in the lowered position. A writing surface is attached to the base and has opposite side edges that coincide with a periphery of an imaginary circle that is parallel with the writing surface. The support surface is disposed inside the imaginary circle when the support surface is in the raised position and has a front portion that extends outside the periphery of the imaginary circle when the support surface is in the lowered position.
