  • Patent number: 5436928
Abstract: In an apparatus for equalization in an impulse response of mobile transmission which varies fast in mobile radio communication, a signal generating circuit outputs a signal sequence undergoing transition at a predetermined period and corresponding to each state transition and a signal sequence corresponding to the path of each state transition. An adaptive filter receives the signal sequence corresponding to each state transition and outputs an estimated signal for each state transition. The apparatus also includes state estimating circuits for performing state estimation by using the square of an estimation error obtained by subtracting each estimated signal from a sampled signal, and a control circuit for controlling the tap coefficient of the adaptive filter by using the RLS algorithm in order to minimize the square of the estimation error.

  • Patent number: 5413238
Abstract: A closure unit has, for additionally securing a new state, a predetermined breaking point (5), which at least partly passes around the pouring opening circumference and connects the pouring part (1) and the closure part (2). In order that the predetermined breaking point (5) is protected against damage and can only be broken by a force directed in the same direction as that necessary for opening the closure unit, on the outside of the closure unit the predetermined breaking point (5) is covered by a protection/support zone (10) and can also be supported on the inside of the closure unit by support zones (11), wherein the predetermined breaking point (6) is made of a different material (A) from the material (B) of the protection/support zone (10).

  • Patent number: 5180888
Abstract: In a conductive connecting structure for electrically connecting first and second electronic parts each having a plurality of connecting terminals arranged at a small pitch, a conductive bonding agent is interposed between the plurality of connecting terminals of the first and second electronic parts. The conductive agent is prepared by mixing a plurality of fine connecting particles in an insulating adhesive. Each fine connecting particle is designed such that a fine conductive particle or a fine insulating particle with a plating layer formed on its surface is covered with an insulating layer consisting of a material which is broken upon thermocompression bonding. When the conductive bonding agent is subjected to thermocompression bonding between the connecting terminals of the first and second electronic parts, portions of the fine connecting particles which are urged by the respective fine connecting terminals are broken.

  • Patent number: 4870921
Abstract: A device for positioning a number of working implements, for example spray nozzles, to certain working or treatment point on a car body as the latter is supported by an overhead conveyor for travel between different working and assembly stations on a production line. The device comprises a vertically movable base structure and a working implement carrying frame movably supported on the base structure. Hydraulic jacks on the base structure are arranged to accomplish a vertical parallel movement of the frame up towad the underside of the car body until one of four contact sensors indicate contact with the later. A final vertical adjustment of the frame is accomplished by four vertical cylinders which raise the frame in a non-parallel movement until at least three of the four contact sensors indicate contact with the car body. The docking of the frame to the car body is completed by activating two expandable dowels which are introduced into openings in the car body bottom shell.

  • Patent number: 4862513
Abstract: An autombile radio capable of receiving VHF entertainment programs from a station in which traffic information signals are modulated in a 57 kHz subcarrier is equipped with two decoders for the 57 kHz subcarrier signals, one decoder for traffic information signals modulated in an analog fashion on the subcarrier and another decoder for digital signals modulated on that subcarrier by double-sideband suppressed-carrier modulation. The first decoder is for a system already in use in which traffic information, at least if urgent, is intended to override the entertainment program, and the receivier has the usual circuits for that override. The second decoder is for a system that is planned but not yet in use in which the received digital signals can call out one or more standard messages or message portions from a read-only memory and either the memory addresses or the memory outputs are storable.
