Abstract: An exercise trainer having a frame with a flywheel supported on the frame and first and second crank arms having a common axle on the flywheel. A first foot link and a second foot link are respectively connected to the crank arms for pivotal reciprocating movement. The links have channel tracks and an elongated tunnel. Bearing surfaces support the first foot links rearwardly and engage the channels. Foot pedals are mounted on the foot links for relative movement on the foot links. A flexible member such as a belt, cable, or chain is connected to the foot pedal. A lower portion of the flexible member is connected to a fixed location or ground on the frame.
A forward and rearward rotational support such as a pulley receives the flexible member defining a lower portion wrapping around the pulleys and connected to the frame. The pulleys are mounted in the tunnel to provide movement of the foot pedals greater than twice the length of the crank arm.
Abstract: A food pan and cover, the food pan having a peripheral web and a wall extending upwardly from the web on which the cover is seated. The cover has an opening that receives a sliding lid. A rail on the cover supports a flange on the lid and a keyway formed between the cover and the pan supports a key on the lid for sliding movement in the keyway. Stops at either end of the keyway check sliding movement of the lid. A wall substantially surrounds the lid on the upper surface with a conduit which extends beyond the opening of the cover for removal of liquid therefrom. A relieved notch portion on the lid allows for turning movement of the lid in the opening of the cover for placement and removal.

Abstract: This disclosure sets forth a verifier for verifying the quality of print such as bar codes in combination with a printer wherein the printer can be controlled to provide proper printing functions for printing in response to the verifier input. The printer upon receipt of a particular report from the verifier can stop the printing such as bar code printing as to a bad label, overstrike a bad label, or reprint the label. Further to this extent, the printer can be controlled by operator intervention on the control panel or by automatic input through the controller of the printer to provide for the respective necessary and correct print or bar codes being printed.
Abstract: A food carrier having inner and outer walls with insulation therebetween and ledges on the interior walls for receipt of a heated food container. A heating unit is provided which is adapted for placement on the ledges in the same manner as the food containers. The heating unit can be provided with a heating element that can be heated inductively, in an oven, or by other suitable heating. The heating element can be formed of a solid to solid phase change material or a solid to liquid phase change material or other heat retentive compositions or compounds.
Abstract: An impact printer such as a line printer having a base with a hammerbank mounted on the base driven for reciprocal movement. The hammerbank has a plurality of hammers with printing tips formed on frets in two longitudinally oriented rows defining an upper row and a lower row. A permanent magnet with pole pieces retains the hammers until a coil overcomes the magnetic retention. A print ribbon is impacted by the printing tips of the impact printer such as a line printer against a print media. The print ribbon has a first longitudinal high strike zone of ink of greater print yield with a low strike zone of lesser print yield on either side of the first zone. The print yield can be a factor of ink viscosity, pigment content, fabric content, fabric composition, or dye features.
Abstract: A wire dereeler for an ultrasonic wire bonder with a bond head has a support for rotatably supporting a reel of wire driven by a stepper motor in incremental steps. Two rollers receive the wire therebetween and are driven by a motor drive for rotating or torquing the rollers and tensioning the wire placed between the rollers. A linkage generally aligns the rollers in parallel with the wire therebetween. A photoelectric sensor determines a given amount of wire at a position between the bond head and the rollers and provides a signal for controlling the stepper motor driving the reel of wire.
Abstract: An ultrasonic wire bonder is disclosed having a bonding head for bonding wire to an electrical or electronic component with a bonding tool. A flexible support formed from at least one arcuate arm, supports the bonding tool for flexible movement of the bonding tool in the Z axis. A pair of arms form a wire clamp supported on the flexible support and are articulated by a link connected for moving one of the arms with respect to the other by an electrical drive having a coil. A wire cutter is connected to the bonding head and a pusher pushes the wire cutter toward the bonding tool before wire is to be cut after bonding.
