  • Patent number: 4779478
Abstract: An adjustable rear view mirror is particularly adapted for use with truck trailers and is moveable both outwardly and angularly with respect to the truck cab to thus maintain a clear view towards the rear of the trailer. The mirror assembly utilizes a double cable control with one such cable moving the entire mirror housing outwardly during a turning of the trailer, and the other cable control then rotating the mirror into a desired viewing angle. Both cable controls utilize screw operators, and they may be manually or motor controlled.

  • Patent number: 4776603
Abstract: A two wheel hand or appliance truck of the type used for moving heavy objects obtains extra lifting leverage through the use of a separate, pivotally-attached handle which is connected to the pre-existing conventional handle forming a part of the frame. The secondary handle is attached securely to the main frame of the truck by means of welded braces near the top of the primary handle, and may be pivoted upwardly into an operating position against the tension of a shock cord assembly. The secondary handle permits additional leverage to be applied to the load to be lifted.

  • Patent number: 4777346
Abstract: A liquid or gel filled pillow utilized for therapeutic purposes is formed from a pair of flexible casing of plastic or the like, one within the other, and being separated by a compressible electrically conductive foam material having a high resistance in its uncompressed slate and a low resistance when compressed. The facing surfaces of the casings are coated with a layer of highly conductive material in electrical contact with the foam. The inner casing is provided with a thermostatically controlled heating element for heating the liquid or gel contained therein. One terminal of the heating element is connected to the power supply through the conductive layers foam so that upon compression of the foam, as would be occasioned by a patient laying his head upon the pillow, there will result an electric current flow to the heating element due to the lowered electrical resistance of the foam.

  • Patent number: 4774646
Abstract: Modules for decorative lighting are designed to replace conventional strings of Christmas lights. The modules include rigid strips of plastic, wood, or the like, with through-extending apertures in which conventional strings of lights can be positioned. Exterior surface portions of the strips are provided with attachment means, such as double faced tape, hook and loop fasteners, etc., with artificial plastic holly then being attached to the strip in a decorative manner. Through the use of hook and loop fasteners or similar attachment structure, the holly can be selectively rearranged when desired to form different decorative patterns.

  • Patent number: 4763942
Abstract: A game holding gambrel is formed from a pair of plastic tubes attachable together by the use of a threaded coupling. Loops are provided at opposed ends of the assembled tubes with these loops being designed to receive the feet of the animal to be butchered. A plastic chain extends upwardly from the ends of the tube assembly and is attachable to a tree limb, or the like, so that the animal can be held in a suspended position. The gambrel may be disassembled into a compact package for storage and transportation.

  • Patent number: 4739573
Abstract: A fish gaff comprises a gaff hook releasably attached to a handle by either spring tension or compression. Depending upon the weight of the gaffed fish, the hook may be partially released from the handle to permit its relative rotation. This construction permits a user to maintain control of a fish without the gaff being twisted, bent or jerked out of the user's hands. In a first embodiment, spring tension is utilized to pull the hook into engagement with a locking slot formed in an interior portion of the handle. In a second embodiment, spring compression is utilized to maintain the hook in a locked position relative to the handle.
