  • Patent number: 7364174
Abstract: A magnetic motor axle for magnetically augmenting the propulsion efficiency and duration of a skateboard is disclosed. The magnetic motor axle includes a truck for mounting on a step board of a skateboard. Multiple truck magnets are provided in the truck. An elongated rotor assembly is rotatably mounted in the truck, and multiple rotor magnets are provided on the rotor assembly. As the rotor assembly rotates in the truck, the truck magnets magnetically repel the respective rotor magnets to augment the torque of the rotor assembly. As least one drive wheel is drivingly engaged by the rotor assembly to drive the skateboard on a surface.

  • Patent number: 7328680
Abstract: A cylinder head assembly includes a spherical valve for an internal combustion engine having at least one cylinder defining a combustion chamber and housing a piston reciprocally movable therein throughout successive intake, compression, power, and exhaust strokes for facilitating the flow of engine gasses between a manifold and the combustion chamber. The cylinder head assembly comprises a cylinder head defining therein a spherical valve race in gaseous communication with the combustion chamber. A spherical valve is disposed in the spherical valve race and has a spherical body defining a central axis of rotation and further defining a passageway therethrough. The passageway has a first opening substantially coaxial with the central axis for gaseous communication with a manifold and has a second opening substantially transverse from the central axis.

  • Patent number: 7322314
Abstract: An insulated animal enclosure configured to be conveniently maintained at a cool and comfortable interior temperature. The insulated animal enclosure includes an inner habitat and an outer housing. The cuter housing includes an opening configured to receive the inner habitat therein and substantially surrounds the inner habitat at a spaced-apart distance thereof. Cooling means are placed within the spaced-apart distance between the outer housing and the inner habitat to assist in maintaining a controlled temperature environment. The inner habitat additionally includes an opening therein to allow an animal to enter and exit the structure at will.

  • Patent number: 7322307
Abstract: A buoyant bumper system for attachment to a docking facility and cushioning a boat. The buoyant bumper system includes an elongated travel shaft for engaging the docking facility, a travel sleeve slidably carried by the travel shaft, a system float carried by the travel sleeve and a resilient bumper carried by the travel sleeve in spaced-apart relationship to the system float. Throughout tidal rise and fall of a water body, the system float maintains the bumper at a fixed level with respect to the boat. Therefore, the buoyant bumper system is capable of cushioning and preventing damage to the boat throughout a full range of tidal movement as the boat is docked to a docking facility.
