Abstract: An anticorrosion perforated foil for fusion onto metal substrates comprising 60 to 90% by weight of bitumen, 0.5 to 7% by weight of styrene-butadiene rubber, 5 to 25% by weight of a bitumen modified with polymers, 0.5 to 7.5% by weight of natural resin and 0.5 to 10% by weight of organic and/or inorganic fibers stable at above 160.degree. C. and its preparation and a method of protecting metal elements from corrosion.

Abstract: In an arrangement in angle rulers for improving the fixture of an angularly adjustable blade (10) of said rulers to the stock (11) thereof in selected angular positions relative thereto, the stock (11) comprises a rectangular hollow section having a lateral opening (17), the blade (10) being arranged to be partly surrounded by the hollow profile of the stock. A spring-loaded (20), displaceable peg (19) is arranged to extend through at least one (12) of the mutually opposing walls (12,13) of the stock, and through the blade (10). One surface of the blade exhibits grooves or promontories (27) arranged to co-act with corresponding grooves or promontories (26) in the inwardly facing surface of the wall (12), whereat both grooves (27) and promontories (26) concentrically encircle the peg (19), around which peg the blade (10) is arranged to pivot.

Abstract: This invention relates to compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein X is oxygen, --NH--, or--NCH.sub.3 --andR is 1-methyl-4-piperidinyl, 4-methyl-1-piperazinyl, endo-8-methyl-8-azabicyclo[3.2.1]oct-3-yl, or exo-8-methyl-8-acabicyclo[3.2.1]oct-3-yl, each of which may optionally have an additional methyl substitutent,a diastereomer or enantiomer thereof, or a non-toxic, pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof with an inorganic or organic acid.

Abstract: A dosing device with ball valve for attachment to a liquid container (12) with a valve ball (5) which closes the discharge opening (3) of the container in a tilted position of the latter is proposed. This is to make possible dosed squirting. This is achieved by a valve ball guide tube (1) which has over its length at least one lateral opening (2) leading towards the container interior and, at its end opposite the discharge opening (3) and the sealing valve ball seat (9), a lower part (4) expanding in funnel shape (6) from the tube wall (FIG. 1).

Abstract: Aqueous suspensions of water-insoluble, calcium-binding aluminosilicates with an improved stability against settling comprising at least 20% by weight of at least one finely-divided, water-insoluble silicate compound having a calcium-binding power of at least 50 mg CaO/gm of anhydrous active substance and having the formula, combined water not shown(M.sub.2/n O).sub.x . Me.sub.2 O.sub.3.(SiO.sub.2).sub.ywhere M is a cation of the valence n, exchangeable with calcium, x is a number of from 0.7 to 1.5, Me is aluminum or boron, and y is a number from 0.8 to 6, and at least 0.5% by weight of a practically water-insoluble nonionic aliphatic surface-active compound having a turbidity point of a 1% solution in water of below room temperature, and the remainder an aqueous liquor. The said suspensions are pumpable and suitable as stock solution in the preparation of washing agent compositions.

Abstract: The metal surfaces are treated with 0.5 to 5 wt. % aqueous solutions (pH value 7.5 to 10.5), in which is contained a synergistic combination--giving a clear solution in water--of corrosion-inhibiting substances. The combination consists of:a. one or more maleic acid mono-n- or -iso-alkylamides with 6 to 14, preferably 8 to 10 C atoms,b. one or more alkalolamines, preferably mono-, di- and/or tri-ethanolamine, andc. complexing phosphonic acids, preferably 1-hydroxy-alkyl-1,1-diphosphonic acid, 1-aminoalkyl-1,1-diphosphonic acid, phosphonocarboxylic acid and/or a phosphonic acid of the formula: ##STR1## Preferred phosphonic acids are 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid, 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid and/or nitrilotrimethylene-phosphonic acid.The weight ratio of a:b should be in the solutions 1:0.3 to 1:10, that of a:c, 1:0.01 to 1:0.5. The solutions can contain additionally surfactants, preferably non-ionogenic surfactants in small quantities, also builders, preferably phosphates and/or borates.

Abstract: A 2,5-benzodiazocine derivative represented by a formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is phenyl or p-methoxyphenyl, R.sub.2 is hydrogen or methyl, and R.sub.3 is p-methoxyphenethyl, 3-(p-fluorobenzoyl)-propyl, cyclopropylmethyl or ##STR2## or a salt of such novel compound as well as a CNS-active pharmaceutical agent containing as an effective component at least one of said derivatives and salts.

Abstract: The novel derivatives correspond to the general formula: ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is a Y--(CH.sub.2).sub.n --NR.sub.4 R.sub.5 group, where Y represents a single bond or the group ##STR2## R.sub.4 and R.sub.5, identical or different, are hydrogen or an alkyl radical, preferably a lower alkyl, or again form together a ring which can include heteroatoms, in particular nitrogen atoms. n is a number ranging from 1 to 10, notably from 2 to 7, R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group or an aralkyl group in which the alkyl substituent is a lower alkyl group, and R.sub.3 is a hydrogen atom or a CH.sub.3 group useful for the treatment of leukemias.

Abstract: Derivatives of selenium as dehydrogenation agents employed in the presence of an oxidation agent consisting of oxidized derivatives of possibly substiuted iodoaromatic compounds, particularly where the derivatives of selenium are employed in catalytic amounts; as well as a process of dehydrogenation 3-oxygenated steroids into the corresponding 3-oxygenated .DELTA..sup.1,4 steroids.

Abstract: The degradation of steroid-C22-carboxylic acids to the C20-carbonyl steroids is carried out in simplified form and preferably without isolating intermediate reaction products by using 17(20)-steroid-22-carboxylic acids as starting material and directly transforming them into the 20-carbonyl compound through their respective acid halides by the Curtius degradation or by carboxy-inversion degradation. The acetyl substituent thus formed in C17 of the steroid compounds is present in the pharmacologically required configuration.

Abstract: The packaging container consists of a mechanically stabilizing case of paper, cardboard and/or metal with inserted sealing liner, which sealing liner is in the form of a plastic bubble with a neck part shaped from it and extending above the case. Both elements are manufactured separately and coupled together with the aid of an adapter cover. This is lockingly connected with the neck of the sealing liner and adapted to an opening in the case, into which it can lock. It is slipped over the sealing liner preform before the stretching and inflating of the liner and is secured against shifting by means of fixing cams.

Abstract: Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein X is oxygen or sulfur;R.sub.1 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl; andR.sub.2 is methyl or ethyl;and non-toxic, physiologically acceptable salts thereof formed with an inorganic or organic base. The compounds as well as their salts are useful as sweetening agents.
