Abstract: A positively controlled raising cylinder raising machine, having a plurality of raising cylinders, circumferentially arranged on a rotary framework, a toothed driving belt for driving the raising cylinders being engaged with a portion of the toothed circular periphery of the raising cylinder, said toothed driving belt being driven by a transmission toothed pulley arranged around a central portion of a circumference defined by the circular periphery of the raising cylinders and operatively coupled to a driving motor, the raising cylinder driving belt being moreover engaged with a pair of switching pulleys holding the driving belt tensioned, the switching pulleys being arranged inside the circular periphery of the raising cylinders on opposite sides of said transmission toothed pulley and near the transmission toothed pulley.
Abstract: The invention relates to a safety device for pneumatic actuators, for preventing the actuator pinion from being violently ejected, comprising a circular seat, formed on the less diameter portion of the pinion, projecting from the actuator body, and housing a resilient ring element. The resilient ring element engages with the pinion restraining elements, provided on the less diameter portion of the pinion outside of the actuator body, for a time required for allowing the pressure inside the actuator body to be released, through a slot defined about the pinion larger diameter section because of the disengagement of the corresponding sealing gasket from the actuator body.
Abstract: An illuminated keypad key and method of manufacture thereof, having a light-permeable resin key top, a film having a pattern formed in one side thereof, the film being fixed to the upper and side surfaces of the transparent resin key top, cutting away portions of the film that extend beyond the lower periphery of the key top, and upper surface of a key operating portion made from transparent rubber or thermoplastic elastomer, being fixed to the underside surface of the key top by means of a transparent adhesive. The above mentioned film has a thickness of 100 mm-200 mm.
Abstract: Articles of manufacture are provided with a low surface energy, permanently non-stick, non-fouling and ice-phobic surface by a system of coating comprising applying a primary coating having a surface energy of 22-28 dynes/cm.sup.2 comprising a novel polymeric material having non-stick and hardness properties and then applying a top coating having lower surface energy of from about 18-21 dynes/cm.sup.2 comprising a siliconic polymer and interdigitating means to make the top coating permanent, the means preferably comprising a bi- or polyfunctional organic compound adapted to wet the surface of the primary coating and chemically or physically bond thereto and to couple to the siliconic polymeric substance in the top coating. The coated substrates are resistant to marking by graffiti, to adherence by marine fouling organisms, and frozen ice on the surface is easily removed.
Abstract: A synthetic, crystalline, porous material is disclosed, together with the related preparation process. Such material of zeolitic nature containing oxides of silicon, titanium and gallium corresponds, in the calcined and anhydrous state, to the following empyrical formula:pHGaO.sub.2 .multidot.qTiO.sub.2 .multidot.SiO.sub.2,wherein p has a value greater than zero and smaller than or equal to 0.050, and q has a value greater than zero and smaller than or equal to 0.025, and the H.sup.+ of HGaO.sub.2 can be at least partially replaceable or replaced by cations.

Abstract: A method for making a solid agglomerate, having a preset size and shape, including a plurality of inert material particles, comprises the steps of: rotating the inert material particles, applying to the surface of the rotating particle an at least one component reactive resin, supplying the particles into a vessel holding each of the particles in contact with the adjoining particles at least for a time necessary to carry out the chemical reaction of the reactive resin, to provide a solid agglomerate.The invention also relates to a system for carrying out the method and the product obtained thereby.
Abstract: A wiper blade comprising a body made of an elastomeric material; and a surface coating layer positioned on a surface of the body and comprising a fluorine-containing resin having hydroxyl groups in the molecules thereof and a hardening agent having reactivity with the hydroxyl groups and optionally a solid lubricant. The surface coating layer is formed only on both side surfaces of the body. Thus, the wiper blade has a high degree of flexibility and restoring property; a high degree of durability; and judders in a slight extent when it slides on a glass surface in contact therewith; a high wiping performance; and maintains its wiping performance for a long time.
