Abstract: A self-refresh apparatus for a semiconductor memory device is disclosed. According to the self-refresh apparatus, Data loss can be prevented by monitoring a leakage of memory cell data, activating a variable self-refresh signal in accordance with a signal resulted from the monitoring during a self-refresh mode, producing a refresh request signal when the self-refresh signal is activated and then refreshing all of memory cells. An unnecessary power consumption can be also prevented by variably performing the refresh operation in accordance with the retention time of cell data.
Abstract: The present invention presents an antenna device for an automotive vehicle wherein a first coil is installed horizontally to receive radio signals. Capacitors are connected electrically and in parallel with the first coil. A second coil is connected electrically with the first coil and installed horizontally under the first coil. A third coil is connected electrically between the first coil and the ground and installed horizontally under the first coil. Additionally, a fourth coil is connected electrically between the first coil and the second coil and installed vertically under the first coil. This antenna device, now including the first to the fourth coils and capacitors, is installed in a mirror case for the car.
Abstract: Acid water containing hypochlorous acid is produced by an anode chamber of an electrolytic chamber, and alkali water is produced by a cathode chamber. The acid water is reserved in a reservoir tank and is returned into the anode chamber by actuating a return pump. The acid water returned into the anode chamber is subjected to further electrolysis, and fed in the cathode chamber through a first water supply line, an interconnection means and a second water supply line, so as to sterilize the interiors of the first water supply line, the interconnection and the second water supply line.

Abstract: Signal input units 105a to 108a of antenna elements 105 to 108 are held on the essentially same circumference. Signal output units 113b, 113c, 114b, and 114c of a feeding circuit 102 are held on a line which is located perpendicular to a plane where the above-described circumference is located, and also which passes through an essential center of this circumference. The feeding circuit 102 supplies feeding signals to the antenna elements 105 to 108 while applying predetermined phase differences to these feeding signals. As a result, electric lengths of feeding lines 119A to 119D are made coincident with each other. These feeding lines are to connect the signal output units 113b, 113c, 114c to the signal input units 105a to 108a.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a wordline driving apparatus in semiconductor memory devices. The wordline driving apparatus comprises a CMOS distributed type sub-wordline driver for receiving an output signal of a row decoder through a main wordline having a wiring structure of a single output line and controlling enabling of the sub-wordline in accordance with the received output signal and a sub pull-down driver for receiving the inverted signals of boosting signals through a control signal supplying wiring and performing a sub pull-down function with respect to the voltage level of the sub-wordline. According to the present invention, it is possible to greatly improve an access time with enhancing a high voltage transfer efficiency and preventing a delay of signal.

Abstract: An improved electroluminescent display includes a first substantially transparent or translucent conductive layer and a phosphor or the like layer. The layers are deposited to form a multi-element display on the first conductive layer; with the phosphor layer broken up into more than one area. There is a layer of dielectric deposited upon the phosphor or the like layer and the dielectric covers substantially all of the display with a second conductive layer deposited upon the dielectric layer. The areas correspond to areas of the electroluminescent display which are to be lit. The second conductive layer is comprised of a number of areas shaped to be substantially congruent with the shaped areas of the phosphor or the like layer.

Abstract: A dust separator for a vacuum cleaner, in which the bag is sealingly connected to a rigid member that screens-off an air-flow passageway through the vacuum cleaner and has an opening with which the bag connects. The screening member is separate from the bag. Mounted at the orifice of the bag is a flange which functions to prevent the bag from being drawn through the opening in the screening member in the direction of air flow through the vacuum cleaner. The flange can be collapsed to enable it to be passed through the opening in the screening member when the bag is full.
