    Abstract: The invention provides a novel coating composition comprising a first component (i.e. 100 parts by weight of a fluorine-containing copolymer), a second component (i.e. 0.1-20 parts by weight of an alkyl silicate), and a third component (i.e. 0.05-3 parts by weight of a water-soluble polyether-modified silicone oil and/or 1-25 parts by weight of a polyoxytetramethylene glycol). The fluorine-containing copolymer has a hydroxyl value of 80-200 mg KOH per 1g thereof and is prepared by copolymerizing 40-65 mol % of a fluoroolefin, 14-50 mo1% of a copolymerizable vinyl-containing compound, 12-25 mol % of a polymerizable hydroxyl-containing compound, and 0.1-12 mol % of at least one other copolymerizable compound. A cured coated film prepared from the coating composition is superior in elasticity and weathering and stain resistances.

    Abstract: A plurality of dielectric sheets are laminated and bonded together to constitute a laminated board. A plurality of strip-shaped resonance electrodes are formed in parallel on a predetermined bonding face of the dielectric sheets, and the strip-shaped resonance electrodes reach opposite edges of the laminated board. Recesses are formed by locally cutting out the portions of the edges of the laminated board in which the respective resonance electrodes are exposed at their particular ends. Grounding electrodes are respectively formed on the obverse and reverse faces of the laminated board, and edge grounding electrodes are formed in the portions of the opposite edges of the laminated board except for the recess.

It is possible to effectively suppress the decomposition, at the time of distillation, of fluoromethyl-1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoroisopropyl ether that is used as a pharmaceutical and particularly as an inhalation anesthetic and thus to obtain fluoromethyl-1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoroisopropyl ether of high purity.

    Abstract: An ultraviolet and infrared absorbing glass plate includes a transparent glass substrate, a first layer formed on a first major surface of the glass substrate and a second layer formed on the first layer. The first layer is an ultraviolet and infrared absorbing film prepared by hardening a primer coating solution. The primer coating solution contains a synthetic resin, a fluorescent brightening agent, an ultraviolet absorbing agent and an infrared absorbing agent. The second layer is a film of a siloxane polymer. The glass plate has an optional water-repellent layer formed on a second major surface of the glass substrate. Long-wavelength ultraviolet rays until the upper limit of its wavelength can be substantially cut by the first layer on the glass substrate. Furthermore, the first layer is superior in infrared absorption, adhesion to the glass substrate, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and durability.

    Abstract: A computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tool is provided in which a cutting tool is movable along a programmed path determined by a part program in a programmable control unit (PCU). A trajectory interpolator receives high level motion commands and a feedrate specification from the PCU to produce interpolated position commands. A position controller controls movement of the cutting tool in response to the interpolated position commands. The machine tool further includes a handwheel and a manual pulse generator (MPG) which can be used in MPG feed mode to control movement of the cutting tool incrementally along the programmed path in either the forward or reverse direction. In MPG feed mode, an MPG feed specification from an MPG position counter is superimposed onto the feedrate specification in the trajectory interpolator.

Even in the case where the size of the instrument panel is changed, the base member is not required to correspond to the instrument panel and, therefore, the ducts can be commonly used. Moreover, since the base member is formed with ducts each having a closed structure, in section, it has a predetermined physical strength.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for evacuating a vacuum package made from a thin-walled and flexible packaging material and filled with granular material. An open end of a filled package is folded in such a manner that a narrow gap is formed which constitutes an open communication between an interior and an exterior of the package. At least a part of the package is placed in a vacuum space and vacuumized for removing gasses from the package through the gap. Upon evacuation the package is sealed airtightly. Further, on at least a part of the packaging material defining the gap a force is exerted which reduces the gap width, so that the gap constitutes a filter for the granular material, whereby the granular material is retained inside the package during the evacuation of the package.

    Abstract: A physical therapeutic instrument for treatment of hemorrhoids is disclosed. The instrument treats existing hemorrhoids through a nonoperative method and prevents possible anal diseases. The rectal insert is carried on a carriage and is movably orthogonally received in a through hole of a seat of the instrument. The rectal insert is lifted and inserted into the rectum by a lifting unit and vibrated vertically and/or horizontally by a vibration unit. The rectal insert also heats the rectum at about 36.degree.-60.degree. C., thus providing a heating effect for the rectum. Insertion of the rectal insert into the rectum also pushes up drooping anal sphincter muscles, thus strengthening the anal muscles. The instrument thus maintains and strengthens active contractible motion of the anal muscles.
