    Abstract: The present invention a speech enabled automatic telephone dialer device uses a spoken name corresponding to name-telephone number data. User telephones are connected to a public service telephony mechanism. The telephony mechanism and user computer workstations containing loaded address book programs with name-telephone number data, are connected to the name dialer device. The name dialer device includes a host computer in a network; a telephony board for controlling the telephony mechanism for dialing; memory within the host computer for storing software and name-telephone number data; and, software to access computer-based address book programs, to receive voice inputs from the telephony mechanism, to create converted phonemes from names to match voice inputs with specific name-telephone number data from the computer-based address book programs for initiating an automatic dialing.

    Abstract: The present invention is an air treatment system for airplanes. It includes: (a.) an environmental conditioning system located within an airplane to provide at least one of heating, cooling, and compressing air, and has ingress ductwork to remove air from an airplane cabin into the system, and an air movement mechanism, e.g. blowers, or equivalent devices, to cycle the air from the cabin and into the environmental conditioning system via the ingress ductwork. It also has egress ductwork for return of treated air into the cabin; and, (b.) an ionic oxygen generator connected to one or both of the ingress ductwork and the egress ductwork. The ionic oxygen generator may be one or more, and should be of sufficient capacity to generate at least 200 ions of ionic oxygen per cubic centimeter of incoming air for removal of airborne contaminants and odor from exiting air before it is returned to the cabin.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a child resistant, disposable, premeasured dosage spoon. It includes a bowl portion having a premeasured dosage volume bowl, a front end for oral insertion, a back end. It also includes a handle portion having a front end and a back end, wherein the back end is hingedly connected to the back end of the bowl portion and folds over onto said bowl portion to reduce the overall length of the spoon. There is also a child resistant mechanism having a male segment and a female segment adapted to interlock with one another, and adapted to require at least a two step movement for release of interlock with one another. One of the male segment and the female segment is located on the front of said bowl portion and the other of said male segment and said female segment being located on said front of said bowl portion and the other is located on the front end of the handle portion so as to enable them to interlock when the handle portion is folded over onto the bowl portion.

    Abstract: The present invention is a modular component leg, arm, and body-stretching device. It includes a main ratchet component having a handle and at least one ratchet bar functionally connected to and capable of passing through the handle. The handle contains a directional ratchet-up mechanism and a trigger wherein when the trigger is depressed, the ratchet bar(s) advance toward the handle. The handle also has a release mechanism to release the ratchet bar from the ratchet-up mechanism. The ratchet bar has an auxiliary component attachment at one end thereof for attachment, directly or indirectly, if a foot or hand auxiliary component. The foot auxiliary component is for leg and body exercise, and has a rigid base for placement of a foot thereon, having a foot securing mechanism to hold a foot in place. There is also at least one attachment for connection with the ratchet bar.

It includes a shaft for rotation; a take-up reel for winding and unwinding a flexible securing strap, the take-up reel being connected to the shaft and affixed thereto for rotation therewith; a flexible securing strap attached to the take-up reel at a first end thereof; a plurality of bidirectional pawl-engaging teeth located about the shaft and so as to prevent and permit rotation of the take-up reel and the shaft by being engaged and disengaged with a pawl; a winding mechanism connected to the shaft or the take-up reel for winding the shaft and the take-up reel; support for supporting the shaft and the pawl. The winch is connected via its shaft to a support and the pawl may be movably connected to the support as well. The present invention is also a portable winch component set for installation into a support at some later time.

    Abstract: The present invention is process for irrigation of a golf course, which involves monitoring reclaimed water, and treating it when necessary to avoid harmful effects to plantlife. The reclaimed water is tested with a plurality of monitors to obtain results for water quality characteristics, including: total organic carbon compounds; pH; residual chlorine; chlorides; and, sodium. These results are inputted to a computerized data handling system for data collection, storage and analysis for comparison to predetermined acceptable ranges for water quality characteristic, and to show any deviation from said acceptable ranges. Either alarms are set off or treatment occurs or both, when deviations are observed. Treatment includes a dechlorination system and an oxidation system to correct active chlorine and total organic compound levels, respectively. Other important monitors may be included for one or more of the following: hardness; turbidity; alkalinity; conductivity and nitrates.

    Abstract: The present invention involves a method of processing polyacrylonitrile into a predetermined form. The first step in this method includes preparing a solution of a room temperature solvent that will dissolve polyacrylonitrile at room temperature and, a room temperature non-solvent that will not dissolve polyacrylonitrile at room temperature. The solution is prepared with sufficient non-solvent to render the room temperature solvent inoperable such that it will not dissolve polyacrylonitrile at room temperature and such that it will be operable at temperatures above 65° C. to dissolve polyacrylonitrile therein. The second step in the present invention method involves combining polyacrylonitrile with the solution to form a mixture, in an amount of at least 20%, by weight, of polyacrylonitrile, based on the total weight of the mixture. Preferred is about 20% to about 50% by weight of the polyacrylonitrile.

There is a disconnectable powering electrical contact connected from the vehicle electrical system to the flash-headlight for powering and operation thereof when the flash-headlight is not removed from the vehicle, and adapted for disconnection from the flash-headlight for removal of base and flash-headlight from the vehicle.
