Abstract: A process for treating waste products discharged in a waste water from an animal operation, such as a swine confinement facility includes a holding tank for receiving waste water from the flushing of the facility in which solids to accumulate at the bottom thereof; wherein as conveyor transfers solids from said bottom at a rate preventing agitation of the waste water, to a compactor for removing additional water content and to a product dryer for converting the solids into a dry product. The product dryer includes a water heating system with water lines connected in a closed loop to the holding tank. The heating system thermal treats the circulating waste water and waste solids to a temperature sufficient to reduce undesired constituents therein. The product dryer is vented to a separator for recovering ammonia contents in the waste material.
Abstract: A removable reducer bushing is carried in a threaded port of an outlet box for coupling with a small threaded conduit and electively removable for coupling with a large threaded conduit thereby permitting a single box to handle multiple conduit sizes without separately procured parts. The bushing includes a deformable thread interruption resisting bushing rotation during removal of the small threaded conduit and frontal slots for manual removal of the bushing with a screwdriver against the resistance of the thread interruption.

Abstract: A mount assembly for mounting a conventional trimming device on a riding mover includes an adjustable support arm mounted on the mower deck carries a biaxially pivotal bracket carrying the shaft of the trimming device whereby the operator may selectively pivot the cutter of the trimmer about a wide arcuate path during movement to trim unwanted vegetation.
Abstract: An acceptance and verification system creates data base records for each posted item of a bulk mailing so as to provide early notification to a mailing system as to the content of mail to be delivered by a bulk mailer in advance of physical delivery at the facility. A unique scanner readable bar code on the posted item provides documentation on the processing of each posted item and verifies correspondence between the notification and the documentation including item related specifics.
Abstract: A pendant display includes a hanger slidably disposed over an inwardly pivoting door and having a holder at an outwardly facing end supporting a pole at a snap-fit ball and socket connection that is pivotal to a horizontal position for displaying into an adjacent hallway an attribute of the room or the adjacent vicinity.
Abstract: A ground clamp having upper and lower clamp members interconnected by clamping screws for mechanical and electrical connection with a grounding member, and a frontally projecting boss on the lower clamp member having a downwardly opening slot for receiving a ground wire which is retained by a set screw forward of the clamping screws whereby the various screws may be independently tightened without interference from adjacent screws.

Abstract: A cord organizer for cosmetology tools at a work station includes a cord retractor mounted on the work station to which the existing cord of an appliance may be connected without modification at an exterior receptacle on the rotating portion of the retractor housing. A locking grommet between the cord and the slot prevents movement forces on the electrical connection during extension and retraction. The housing further includes a wide angle extended circumferential opening that allows operator observation of the cord condition and increased cord mobility during use.
Abstract: A fire ant trap for eradicating fire ants at a mound includes a domed enclosure having a lower rim peripherally engaging the mound and secured thereat by stakes. A tubular auger is threaded at the top end and has a perforated beveled tip that rotates into the top of the mound. A fire ant agent is dispensed to the tip from an upper fill opening that is sealed by a removable cap.
Abstract: An indoor facility provided with a liquid refrigerant dehumidifier coil connected with the main refrigeration coils in a secondary refrigerant loop and a compressor waste heat coil coupled with the primary refrigerant loop and heating a desiccant wheel for removing further humidity from the process air stream.
Abstract: A truck rail for the side walls of a pickup truck cargo bed includes a welded chain having individual links structurally interconnected to form a rigid assembly of a center section spaced above the side walls and inclined end section attached to the sidewalls by mechanical fasteners or telescopic insertion into sidewall stake pockets.
Abstract: The heat storage capacity of natural cellulosic products is increased by injecting nucleating products and/or heat storing material into unfilled cells thereby increasing the amount of material that can undergo phase change for transferring latent heat.
Abstract: A compact inline unitized plug/receptacle adapter interconnects a four blade plug configuration with a three slot receptacle thereby allowing a boat or RV user to readily adapt to an available receptacle at mooring or camping sites while retaining the ability to utilize the electrical equipment therein. The adapter includes a cover assembly carrying on the outer end the three blades for connection with a host receptacle and carrying on the inner end the four terminals for connection with the guest plug. The live or hot terminals are interconnected by a jumper bus mounted at a raised pad on the cover and electrically connected with the live blade. The neutral and ground terminals are separately connected with their respective blades and mounted at pads of differing elevation on the cover thereby providing differing base elevations and a first degree of physical and electrical insulation between the hot and neutral/ground paths.
