  • Patent number: 8349383
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of seed crystals for chocolate products, which process comprises the following steps: Melting cocoa butter or chocolate masses, mixing the melted mass with a supercritical fluid, expanding the obtained solution in an expansion apparatus so that the formation of powder particles takes place, and separation of the powder particles from the gas. The seed crystals obtained in this manner have a high component of ?V crystals and therefore offer advantages over mechanically produced seed crystals in the production of chocolate. The process can be carried out with high space-time yields and therefore offers economical advantages over traditional processes. Furthermore, the use of the produced seed crystals for producing chocolate products with advantageous organoleptic qualities is subject matter of the invention.

  • Patent number: 8335594
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of operating a wind farm intended for connection to an electric power network, which wind farm includes at least three wind turbine generator systems. At least one actual value for a wind speed or a parameter associated with wind speed is determined for each wind turbine generator system which are divided at least temporarily into predetermined groups. A first disconnect value is assigned to one group of wind turbine generator systems and a second different disconnect value is assigned to a second group of wind turbine generator systems. Actual values are assigned to disconnect values, and compared thereto. When the actual value exceeds the disconnect value the associated group of wind turbine generator systems is automatically disconnected.

  • Patent number: 8196766
Abstract: The invention relates to a folding container (100) having a first and second side wall (11, 13), a roof (10), a floor (20) as well as a face end (12) and a back end, wherein the first side wall (13) and the second side wall (11) are slideable along the roof (10) and along the floor (20) respectively in such a manner that the lateral parts (11, 13) are slideable inward of the container (100) until they lie parallel to the floor (20). In order to offset friction losses in the longitudinal rails of folding containers (100), the invention proposes that the roof (10) and the floor (20) are provided with spaced longitudinal rails (14, 15, 16, 17) running parallel to one another for a roll guide of the first side wall (13) slideable on the roof (10) and for a roll guide of the second side wall (11) slideable on the floor (20), wherein in the longitudinal rails (14, 15, 16, 17) tension springs (30) are integrated which with a folded-out container (100) are tensioned and with a folded-up container (100) are relaxed.

  • Patent number: 8141590
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for sealing an end section of a tube or of a tubular vessel with a sealing plate arranged pointing toward the tube, and a front plate arranged pointing away from the tube. A peripheral seal is arranged in the outer region of the plates and is disposed at least partly between the sides which point toward one another. The invention provides an arrangement for sealing an end section of a tube or of a tubular vessel, which prevents passage of a medium either out of or into the vessel. This is achieved by virtue of the arrangement, where on at least one of the sides of the plates pointing toward one another in the sealing region, there is a projection which, when forced by pressure onto the sealing plate, brings about a deformation of the seal in the direction of the inner wall of the tube or tubular vessel.

  • Patent number: 7887654
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of mineral fibres or filaments and E-glass fibres having a SiO2 part of more than 50 wt. % in the form of a textile fabric, as a biocide-free antifouling agent for protecting submerged structures from damage by adhesion and multiplication of aquatic pests in the sea or in industrial water systems. The surface of the antifouling agent predominantly consists of fine basalt fibres and the fabric is woven, knitted or braided, a fabric formed according to multiaxial technology, or a nonwoven.

  • Patent number: 7830030
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a wind energy system wherein when a first settable boundary value (G1) is reached by a first parameter (M1) a process is automatically started whose course is monitored by measuring a second parameter (M2). By comparing the measured values of the second parameter (M2) with a second settable boundary value (G2), the first settable boundary value is changed upon reaching the second boundary value (G2) by the second parameter (M2).
