This translucent front plate (2), made from tempered glass or polycarbonate has at least one cut (21) on its side surface for lodging part of the material that makes up the recessed body (1) while such recessed body is being formed.
Abstract: A strut holding assembly for flexible elongated struts engaging a flexible wall, the assembly including a hub, a plurality of holding arms pivotally connected at spaced locations to the hub between storage positions adjacent the hub, and extended positions extending outwardly of the hub, each holding arm being adapted to immobilize a free inner end of one strut. At least one of the holding arms has a seat adapted for receiving and immobilize the free inner end of a strut in at least one direction and a hook spaced from the seat by a fulcrum distance, the hook being adapted for engaging the strut at a distance from the free inner end of the strut equal to the fulcrum distance, for immobilizing the strut in a bent and tensioned position and in at least three directions and being free to move in a remaining direction.
Abstract: To attain a slide mechanism of a portable terminal device which, having a minimal number of parts and keeping the same function as that of a conventional one, enables a substantial production cost reduction, a mechanism relatively slides a first casing and a second casing in a state that the casings are laid over each other in a vertical direction, and is constituted with: a slide case mounted on either one of the first casing and the second casing; a slider slidably accommodated in the slide case and mounted on the other one of the first casing and the second casing; and a resilient means resiliently disposed between the slider and the slide case. The slide case is formed as an integral structure with a guide groove which extends to both ends in a longitudinal direction with the one end thereof being opened. Additionally the slider has a shape which enables the slider to be inserted into the guide groove in an engaged state from the open end side.
Abstract: A closure assembly for a mouth and neck portion of a container for liquid has a sleeve adapted to lie substantially concentrically with respect to the mouth and provided with a mechanism for fixing the sleeve on the container. A first outer sleeve is coaxially mounted over the sleeve and a second outer sleeve separate from the first outer sleeve and substantially tight fit with a container closure member. The first and second outer sleeves are axially aligned and have respective initially adjacent portions. A mechanism is provided for spacing apart the initially adjacent portions of the first and second outer sleeves upon reclosure of the assembly after an initial opening of the container.
Abstract: A driving system allows an invalid chair having a seating structure, wheels on both sides of the seating structure and at least one front stabilizing wheel, to pass obstacles. The driving system has arms secured to both sides of the seating structure and on which shafts of the wheels are arranged slidingly within two extreme positions. Cranks are on both sides of the seating structure and rotary cross engagement members are at the rear and on both sides of the seating structure and have arms which are terminated with adhesive end pieces. Each crank is connected to a respective rotary cross engagement member through a geared transmission for transmission of rotary movement of the crank to the rotary cross engagement member, and the geared transmission is provided with a flap for preventing reverse rotating of the crank.

A computer memory system, connected to the RFID hardware devices, stores discovery, configuration, and control data. A second computer program is used to automatically and remotely receive data from the system and to automatically generate a graphical display of all RFID hardware devices. A third computer program embeds location information in terms of physical business context and zone definitions into the hardware RFID devices.

Abstract: Method for manufacturing magnetron sputter-coated workpieces includes placing a substrate adjacent a magnetron source having a target cathode, generating above the target cathode, at least one plasma loop by an electron trap established by generating a magnetic field which forms, in top view on the target cathode, a magnet field loop and, viewed in cross-section on the target cathode, a tunnel-shaped arc field and, an electric field which crosses the magnetic field of the magnet field loop. Plasma density distribution above the target cathode is controlled by interacting a control anode with the electron trap in a control segment area of the plasma loop.
