  • Patent number: 7502314
Abstract: In a label-switched path communications network, each node of the network defines first and second label-switched paths between its first and second output ports and the input ports of downstream nodes. The output ports of each node are monitored. If the first output port is normal, a received packet containing a first label value is switched from any of its input ports to the first output port according to a first relationship between the first label value and the first output port. If the first output port is abnormal, the first label value of the packet is rewritten with a second label value and the packet is switched to the second output port according to a second relationship between the second label value and the second output port. The first and second label values form a pair of companion label values.

  • Patent number: 7498952
Abstract: A two-way radio frequency lighting control system comprises a master control including a plurality of manual actuators, and a plurality of dimmers, in which the number of dimmers does not exceed the number of manual actuators. After the lighting control system is installed in an intended end user location, and prior to the first time the lighting control system is energized in the intended end user location, each of the manual actuators is operative to affect the status of one, and only one, of the plurality of dimmers. A turn key lighting control system in which there is a one-to-one correspondence of manual actuators to dimmers is thereby provided.

  • Patent number: 7497912
Abstract: A cell controller controls the operation of a transport robot to keep a substrate belonging to a succeeding lot carried into a heating part in the fourth transport cycle from being transported out of the heating part in the next or fifth transport cycle, thereby preventing interference between the transport of substrates belonging to the succeeding lot and the transport of substrates belonging to a preceding lot. If interference is likely to occur between the transport of the substrates belonging to the succeeding lot and the transport of the substrates belonging to the preceding lot, the cell controller causes the substrates belonging to the succeeding lot not to be transported but to remain in processing units. This allows the transport of the substrates belonging to the succeeding lot in consideration of only the next transport cycle.

  • Patent number: 7498778
Abstract: A method and a circuit comprising an electrically controlled transistor element (303) configured for conveying a current from an input terminal (300) to an output terminal (320), wherein the current is of a magnitude belonging within a pre-determined current range; and a control circuit configured for controlling said transistor element is such a manner that the transistor element (303) is controlled to produce a pre-selected voltage drop across the transistor element independently of the traversing current. Hereby an extremely effective circuit is provided that has high efficiency for transporting large current values form a supply module to a power consuming module and hence the option is provided of substituting the circuit according to the invention in an active system; a so-called hot swap. The circuit can also easily be dimensioned to a desired application by adding a number of transistor elements in parallel.

  • Patent number: 7499725
Abstract: A mobile terminal such as a cellular telephone can include a voice recording function. Upon arrival of an incoming call when the cellular telephone is executing a recording operation, the cellular telephone informs of the arrival of the incoming call by any one of or both of an incoming call display on a display unit and light emission of light emitting means. At this time, the cellular telephone stops a sound generating operation and a vibrating operation which affect the recording operation. The recording stops temporarily when a user answers the incoming call.

  • Patent number: 7494042
Abstract: A method of bonding wire between first and second bonding points with a bonding tool, such as a capillary, is disclosed. A first bond is formed at the first bonding point with the bonding tool, and further steps include moving the bonding tool away from the first bond by a first distance, then moving the bonding tool towards the first bonding point and coupling the wire to the first bond. Thereafter, the bonding tool is moved away from the first bond by a second distance and a kink is formed in the wire. The bonding tool is subsequently moved to extend a sufficient length of wire to form a wire loop between the first and second bonding points before the bonding tool is moved to the second bonding point to form a second bond. Characteristics of wire bonds formable using the method are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7495759
Abstract: A method of detecting wear and damage to a rotary cutting blade for singulating a substrate is provided comprising the steps of providing a sensor to locate a first detecting position at an edge of the blade and performing dicing with the blade while the sensor is maintained substantially at the first detecting position for detecting damage to the blade. Subsequently, an extent of wear of the blade is determined by driving the sensor in the direction of the blade to locate a second detecting position at the edge of the blade as a diameter of the blade is reduced due to dicing. Thereafter, while dicing is performed with the blade, the sensor is maintained substantially at the second detecting position for detecting damage to the blade.

  • Patent number: 7496376
Abstract: Outer loop power control (OLPC) method and apparatus for mobile communications systems which allow rapid adjustment of the target desired signal to interference ratio (SIRtarget) satisfying a target block error rate (BLERtarget). Specifically, the outer loop power control method proposed herein is termed “Outage-Based OLPC” and establishes that the target desired signal to interference ratio (SIRtarget) is given as the sum of two components: the first component (SIRoutage-tgt) is calculated by means of a dynamic adjusting function, for example, a neural network which makes a quality criterion based on outage probabilities correspond with one based on the target block error rate (BLERtarget), taking as input the fading margins associated with the different outage probabilities considered; the other component (SIRBLER-tgt) is that which acts to correct the possible deviations in the target block error rate (BLERtarget) due to the non-ideal behavior of the previous component (SIRoutage-tgt).
