Abstract: A method of seismic data analysis to provide clustering of A.V.O. data into A.V.O. anomaly types, the method comprising: obtaining successive values of a plurality of seismic attributes, each seismic attribute comprising a respective property of a seismic reflection event, grouping said values using a running window of a predetermined size into a plurality of groups, for each group identifying first and second parameters corresponding to said first and second attributes, and plotting each group as a single event based on said group parameters, said group parameters having been selected to cause clustering of said seismic reflection events on said plot according to the presence or absence of A.V.O. anomalies.

Abstract: Briefly, an apparatus having a first capacitor-inductor-capacitor impedance converter operably coupled to a second capacitor-inductor-capacitor impedance converter. The first and second capacitor-inductor-capacitor impedance converter may combine a first and second signals of first and second outphasing power amplifiers and may provide a matched output impedance to a desired load.

Abstract: Using the method of the present invention, clock mismatch or drift between a packet network transmitter and receiver can be compensated for via receiver clock rate change or bit rate change. The method includes estimating the average receiver FIFO buffer memory level over time, changing the packet network receiver bit rate or clock rate according to the average receiver FIFO buffer memory level change while still satisfying the MPEG-2 system specification.

Abstract: As part of the present invention, a motion detector for detecting motion inside of a body may include a first oscillator to produce an electrical scanning signal and a second oscillator to produce an electrical Doppler signal. A vibrating element may vibrate in response to the scanning and Doppler signals. A vibration transducer may receive vibrations reflected from a structure inside the body and may convert the reflected vibrations into an electrical signal. Doppler shifts between the transmitted and received vibrations may be used to estimate the velocity of the structure inside the body.

The sensing device may be an in-vivo autonomous capsule with an imager, but may be another type of sensing device.

Abstract: A system and method for measuring and analyzing motility within a body lumen such as the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, where an in vivo imaging device such as a capsule captures images and transmits the images to a processor, which calculates the motility of the device based on comparison of the images. Preferably, the processor compares the intensity of pairs of images or of elements of pairs of images, generates a variance for the compared images, and calculates the motility of the imaging device from the variances. The motility data may be presented to a user in various manners; for example, a plot of motility over time may be generated, or indications of low motility may be presented to the user of the system.

Abstract: An in-vivo device, such as an autonomous imager or other suitable in-vivo device, includes a moveable arm, extendible element, or proboscis. The in-vivo device may include sensors, such as imagers, etc. The device may transmit sensing information via, for example, wireless transmission, or wired transmission.
