Abstract: A handle for plastic bags which include carrying loops, the handle composed of molded or extruded material having two transverse grooves and/or a longitudinal groove, each groove having a wide mouth, inwardly extending converging sides leading to a narrow channel and an enlarged opening thereafter. The handle having closure means at each end which may form other functions such as a whistle or flashlight. Transverse cavities are optionally formed on the upper and lower sides near ends of the body for receiving perpendicular thereto handles having similar cavities for interlocking therewith.
