Abstract: Medical tray and cover apparatus includes a tray body having an open top and an open front; the cover is removable and covers the tray top and front. The tray body includes a plurality of oppositely disposed grooves that provide for the insertion of closure and divider panels. The tray grooves are configured to allow the tray to be loaded with ampoules or vials without being snagged by the grooves. The trays are transparent so that its contents are visible without removing the cover. The trays are stackable with the cover in place. The trays are lockable such that the ability to stack the trays is not interfered with. The tray and cover eliminate particle generation from use and wear that can contaminate the contents of the tray. The tray and cover are capable of being autoclaved.
Abstract: An improved in intake manifold for a carbureted, vee type of internal combustion engine is comprised of at least two members, a fuel-oxidizer flow member and an isolator member. The flow member is removably connected to the isolator member. The isolator member is connected at a bottom surface to a vee valley of the internal combustion engine formed between opposing banks of cylinders. In a preferred embodiment, the flow member is sealingly split along a longitudinal axis of the engine. The isolation member isolates the flow member from the environment existing in the vee valley while sealing the vee valley. Engine coolant passages and a distributor shaft opening are provided within the isolator. Changing the flow member is accomplished without disturbing the vee valley sealing, the distributor setting, nor the engine cooling conduits.
Abstract: A carburetor spacer is provided with an isolation member to isolate the flow of atomized fuel from a carburetor to an intake manifold of an internal combustion engine comprising first and second hollow members fitting one inside the other and an elastomeric member interposed between said fitted hollow members. The elastomeric member also serving to thermally insulate the flow of fuel-oxidizer from heat produced by the engine. Thus, the isolation member helps prevent the fuel from reverting to a liquid state before being introduced into the cylinders of the engine and by reducing the heat input to the fuel-oxidizer mixture, less expansion of the mixture occurs before being introduced into the engine's cylinders. Less expansion results in more of the mixture of the fuel-oxidizer can be input to the cylinders resulting in a greater power output by the engine.
Abstract: An exercise device for strengthening and enlargement of the penis includes flexible members, such as straps or pads, adapted to fit around an erect penis and spaced along the length of the penis. An elongated member is attached at one end to each of the straps or pads and extend downward therefrom. The other end of the elongated members are each attached to an opposite end of a spring member. The opposite end portions of the spring member comprise lever arms. A weight member is attachable to the spring member at a location approximately equidistant between the ends of the spring member. Each attachment joint of the elongated members, the spring member and the weight allows for relative pivoting, rotation or bending at each of the joints.
Abstract: A substantially transparent article of footwear includes a substantially transparent resilient sole having a gripping surface and a substantially transparent shoe upper integrally extending from the resilient sole. The upper includes an element for aeration of a foot of a user and a substantially transparent insole disposed within the upper and a closure element for the upper. The transparent closure element operates to stabilizing an ankle and in-step area of a foot of the user within the footwear.
Abstract: The present invention comprises architectural building products or “trim” and methods for making, installing and finishing the same. The architectural trim comprises a rigid urethane having a mesh material and or tabs imbedded within the body of the architectural trim product and extending out from the sides thereof for purposes of aiding in the attachment of the architectural trim product to the surface of a building.
Abstract: A liquid separator for separating water from a mixture of water and fuel includes a flow dispersion member which serves to control the flow of the mixture into, through, and out of the liquid separator. The flow dispersion member is placed between a flow inlet channel and a separation chamber and includes a plurality of flow paths that significantly reduces turbulence into and through a separation chamber of the liquid separator thereby improving the separation of the water from the mixture. Further improvement of the separation is provided by the unique arrangement of an inlet port so as to induce a circulatory motion to the incoming mixture and thereby separate some water by centrifugal action.
Abstract: An exercise device for strengthening and enlargement of the penis includes a substantially helical spring including a first lever arm, a central spring section having one end integral with one end of the lever arm, and a second lever arm integral with a second end of the spring section, each lever arm having one free end including a retainer element. The device also includes a selectable weight attachable to the spring section and a first flexible elongate pad having a width and length proportioned for engagement about the penis. The device also includes a flexible cord, having opposing ends attached to respective opposite ends of the first pad, passing through the retainer means of the first lever arm. The device also includes a flexible elongate pad having a width and a length proportioned for engagement about the penis, and a flexible cord having opposing ends attached from respective opposite ends of the second pad, the cord passing through the retainer elements of the second lever arm.
Abstract: A ventilator for a covering for a boat or other object includes a dome for covering air venting openings. The air vents are provided in a pair of oppositely disposed ventilator plates. The boat or other covering is firmly clamped between the ventilator plates by means of a nut that can be tightened by hand. The venting openings are disposed one above the other with no obstructions therebetween in order to allow for direct air transfer between the inside and the outside of the cover while preventing weather elements from entering the cover.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are presented for determining the adequacy of a shielding and an electrical connection of a male BNC to a coaxial cable. A dial indicator gauge includes a calibration member for calibrating the limits of a properly connected male BNC. A simulated female BNC is included with the gauge. The calibrated gauge is attached to the male BNC connection which then indicates whether the connection is within the allowable limits.
Abstract: An encased air blower (10) includes a motor and fan assembly (21) which is connected to the casing (11) of the air blower (10) by a combination mounting and sealing member (22). The unique mounting and sealing member (22) provides a positive seal between the suction (12) and pressure (13) sides of the air blower casing (11). The unique mounting and sealing member (22) further serves to acoustically isolate the motor and fan assembly (21) from the casing (11) and thereby significantly reduces the operational noise level of the air blower.
Abstract: An insert adapted to be placed between a carburetor or a throttle body and an intake manifold of an internal combustion engine is provided with a fuel manifold, a nitrous oxide manifold, and one or more burst diaphragms in a wall of said insert. Said manifolds are arranged one over the other and across an opening in said insert. A plurality of orifices extend along the length of each manifold, and are arranged to direct flow outward, downward, and radially relative to the axial flow of the fuel-oxidizer mixture through the insert.
Abstract: A toy having a personalized voice message stored therein for selective playback comprising a toy and a message storage and playback device. The message storage and playback device is structured for placement within the internal cavity of the toy and includes at least one memory portion having a voice message stored therein and a playback portion. The playback portion includes an audio output circuit and a transducer, structured to retrieve the voice message from the desired memory portions and audibly output the voice message, and a control circuit, structured to limit play back of the voice message so that the voice message is only played back once each time the switch is actuated and minimize the current drawn by the playback portion to prolong the useful life of the batteries. The toy further comprises means for remote recording of a voice message, via a telephone, in one of its memory portions.
