Abstract: A shaving apparatus comprises a housing having a top surface, and a holder together with a retaining element provided with three triangularly arranged cutting units. Provision is made for engaging the retaining element with the holder with the cutting units therebetween to form a unitary body detachable from the top surface of the housing. Three stepped recesses are arranged 120.degree. apart in the peripheral wall of the retaining element, each recess having two steps. Three stops are arranged 120.degree. apart on the top surface of the housing. The holder body can be mounted on the housing in three positions, the stops on the housing engaging one of the two steps in the retaining element recesses in each of two of such positions and engaging the peripheral wall of the retaining element in the remaining position, the axial distance between the retaining element and the holder thereby being varied.

Abstract: A motor-compressor unit comprises a motor including a magnetizable stator; an armature oscillatable about the motor shaft axis; two coils arranged opposite each other on the stator; and a magnetizable core extending between the coils. The stator has opposed sections spaced from each other and arranged to define air gaps between such stator sections and the core at the end faces of the coils remote from each other, such air gaps being concentric about the motor shaft axis. A permanent magnet is disposed between each stator section and the core, a pole of each magnet facing the core. A plurality of pole elements is associated with the armature and is arranged such that oscillation of the armature causes one pole element to move into its respective air gap and another pole element to move out of its respective air gap.

Abstract: An ice-cream maker with a cylindrical container (1), inside which at least one cooled surface is provided for ice-cream formation, and with an electric motor (4), which through a gear unit (5) drives a shaft (6) running central to the container, said shaft bearing a scraper and stirrer tool (8) acting at least together with the cooled surface. An autosynchronous single-phase motor is provided as the electric motor and the scraper and stirrer tool has for both directions of rotation of the shaft at least one scraper and stirrer tool section (10,11) effective principally in the relevant direction of rotation.
Abstract: A shaving apparatus comprises a housing and a shaving head rotatably mounted on the housing and having at least two rotary shaving units each comprising an external shaving member provided with hair-entry apertures and an internal shaving member rotatably drivable relative to the external shaving member, the axes of the rotatably drivable internal shaving members being parallel to each other. The shaving head is mounted such that it is rotatable relative to the housing about a rotational axis inclined relative to the longitudinal dimension of the housing and parallel to the axes of the rotatably drivable internal shaving members. Thereby the shaving head can be rotated about the rotational axis to various positions oriented differently relative to the housing.
