Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of constructing an integrated artificial immune system that comprises appropriate in vitro cellular and tissue constructs or their equivalents to mimic the normal tissues that interact with vaccines in mammals. The artificial immune system can be used to test the efficacy of vaccine candidates in vitro and thus, is useful to accelerate vaccine development and testing drug and chemical interactions with the immune system.

An encryption/decryption module encrypts the contents by using the encryption key. A Bluetooth module transmits the encrypted contents to a Bluetooth module of the client.

Plural encoded data streams are interleaved and transmitted on a transmission channel. Data groups generated via convolutional or selected encoding are interleaved via time-interleaving functions to disperse selected bits within puncture groups of the data groups, bits in between data groups, and bits in selected sets of data groups to facilitate reconstruction of the source data stream from at least a portion of the interleaved data stream received on at least one transmission channel. The time-interleaving functions are selected to facilitate reconstruction of the source data stream from one transmission channel following continuous blockage. The plunger rod includes a plurality of teeth comprising distally facing shoulders provided on a majority of the length of an elongate portion of the plunger rod and a breakable section configured to break upon the application of excessive axial or torsional force. The breakable section is preferably provided at a distal end of the plunger rod so that a proximal end of the locking element engages the syringe barrel and plunger rod at a position more proximal than the breakable section. Abstract: A method for HARQ reordering in Enhanced Uplink Dedicated Channel of WCDMA system includes following steps: locating the soft combination buffer in the Node B and the reordering buffer in the SRNC; locating the HARQ entity in the Node B; locating the reordering queue distribution entity, the reordering entity and the disassembly entity in the SRNC. This invention adopts the separation technology of the soft combination buffer and the reordering buffer, the separation model can not only ensure the diversity gain, but also reduce the receiving delay and save the buffer space. Three mechanisms (timer mechanism, window mechanism and SBI mechanism) are proposed to prevent the blocking of the reordering buffer, which degrades the blocking to the least level, improves the receiving efficiency and the system performance. Aiming at the SBI mechanism, the invention proposes the new DCH data frame structure on the Iub interface and the Iur interface.

Repository data can be analyzed to determine such information as actual test strip use, patient health parameters to outside prescribed ranges, testing and medication delivery compliance, patient profiles or stakeholders to receive promotional items or incentives, and so on. Connected meters and medication delivery devices and repository data analysis are also employed to associate a diagnostic test to a mealtime based on timing of a therapeutic intervention performed by an individual.

Client entities lease words based on specified geo-target criteria on specified platforms. Users initialize the apparatus and can perform word searches utilizing the method and apparatus where the word may be a client's leased word that is associated to the user's geographic profile. Thus, the user is provided a geo-targeted message along with search results and the client is able to effectively communicate a message to targeted recipients.

Abstract: The online measurement system of radioactive tracers in oil wells head, object of this invention, is characterized by the use of new technology to measure concentrations of tracer activity in real time, using a radiation detector NaI (TI), with features that make it possible to detect up to three different tracers and be able to operate in temperature conditions up to 150° C., which allows to be immersed in a container with fluid coming from the flow stream, achieving with this to increase the sensitivity of the measurements. This system of measurement in the head of production wells will allow having much more data of the tracer activity, avoiding having to transport the operational staff to production wells to carry out sampling test, with all the advantages that this represents.

Abstract: A communication system is provided, including a first master device to operate as a master of a communication according to a first protocol, a second master device to operate as a master of a communication according to a second protocol, a common slave device to operate as a slave of the communication according to the first protocol and the second protocol with respect to the first master device and the second master device, and a switch to control a connection between the common slave device and the first master device and between the common slave device and the second master device for a communication between the common slave device and one of the first master device to and the second master device. Thus, embodiments of the present invention provide a communication system that minimizes cost increases and improves communication speed in a system in which a plurality of master devices communicate with a slave device performing the same function as the master devices.
