  • Patent number: 8122515
Abstract: An access control method performed by a network server to which a plurality of users are connected is disclosed. In the access control method, upon access from each user to data stored in a network resource, the access control method searches a plurality of access control rules prepared in advance for controlling accesses from the users and each including an access control value which is one of a finite integer number of values, by using at least one of information on the user and information on the data. Then, on the basis of the retrieved access control rule, the access control value is determined. Thereafter, response information from the data or access request information to the data is changed by using the determined access control value.
