    Abstract: The method of fine gradation display by an electro-optical device with little influence by difference in elemental devices, is disclosed, which is an object of the present invention. In case of an active matrix electro-optical device, a visual gradation display can be carried out by digitizing an analog image signal externally supplied by means of binary notation, by temporarily storing the digital signal thus obtained, by outputting the digital signal to a circuit of next step in a proper order, and by controlling the output timing of the signal so as to output the signal to the active matrix electro-optical device, and whereby digitally controlling the time for applying voltage to a picture element.

    Abstract: A coin-magic device has a stand on top of which a first coin receiving surface is formed. The device further comprises a tray that is used as placed on the first coin receiving surface to hide the coin. The tray has also a coin receiving surface that is referred to as a second coin receiving surface. Two more coins are placed on the second coin receiving surface. In addition, the device comprises a casing. When the casing is fitted onto the tray and stand, the tray is turned from the first coin receiving surface to the inner wall of the casing and appears as if it were the inner wall of the casing. Therefore, the two coins on the second coin receiving surface of the tray are hidden between the tray and the casing, and the coin on the first coin receiving surface will appear in stead.

    Abstract: A process for connecting a molybdenum foil to a lead portion with sufficient strength and reliability in which an expensive binder, such as platinum, platinum clad molybdenum, or the like, is not used. According to the invention, a carbon containing or carbon coated molybdenum part is placed between the molybdenum foil and the molybdenum lead portion and then the two are resistance welded to one another. Furthermore, a hermetically enclosed part of a lamp can be produced by this process.

    Abstract: A three-way valve including a valve housing having a valve chamber and a high pressure fluid supply inlet, high pressure fluid outlet and drain communicating with the valve chamber is disclosed. A movable member is reciprocally received in the valve chamber so as to be reciprocated between first and second positions for selectively fluidically communicating the outlet with either the inlet or drain. A first valve seat is formed in the valve housing and concentrically disposed in the valve chamber for sealing communication between the outlet and drain and a second valve seat is concentrically disposed in a cavity formed in the movable member for sealing communication between the inlet and outlet. A floating pin is received in the movable valve member cavity at a one end of the movable valve member and cooperates with the second valve seat for selectively sealing fluidic communication between the inlet and the outlet.
