Abstract: A comprehensive diverse nonleaking cleaning apparatus consists of a cleaning portion that sprays water and cleaning fluid while receiving waste products of the sprayed fluid, a waste discharge device that temporarily stores and discharges waste collected from the cleaning portion, and a high pressure hose for spraying fluid therein attached to the cleaning portion and to a blow out motor pump. The apparatus sprays a mixture of water and cleaning fluid and simultaneously retrieves and temporarily stores the waste (including the original sprayed content) by means of an added pressure hose connected to a motor pump. The lavatory embodiment, usable by individuals with limited movement, such as elderly, disabled, bedridden patients etc.
Abstract: A novel composition and method for forming artificial fingernails in situ for people with weak, damaged nails. A vinyl fingernail extension is adhered to the top surface of the free end of a natural fingernail. Then a coating of cyanoacrylate adhesive is applied to the vinyl extension and the natural nail. Afterwards a layer of a pink mixture in powder form of between 8 and 12 parts by volume acrylic ester polymer or copolymer and 1 part sodium bicarbonate is applied to the adhesive coating while still wet to create an instant hardening. The coatings are repeated several times. The resulting nail looks naturally pink, blends into its finger, skin and nail environment, is hardy, corrects broken nails and is strong enough to protect against further damage to nails. The main benefit is that individuals whose nails are weak or broken and could not otherwise grow long nails because of this can do so.
Abstract: Method and apparatus for robust integral-pulse control of servodrives of unknown dynamics. According to the current value of the controlled object position, a microprocessor controller presets the current values of pulse duration and pulse amplitude as functions of the position control or velocity control error. The current value of the pulse period is a function of the sum of (difference between) the current values of orthogonality and robustness parameters when the object moves with acceleration (when the object moves with deceleration). The orthogonality parameter is calculated in proportion to the current value of pulse duration under the condition of orthogonality of the adjacent pulses and the Indeterminacy Principle. The robustness parameter is a function of the current object acceleration/deceleration.
Abstract: A hand tool for removing adhesive material, such as ceramics, from cylindrical containers and/or scraping such containers clean of residual adhesive material, thereby salvaging such material and reducing the labor and material costs of construction work, includes a handle and two different sized blade members of semicylindrical shape. The dual size feature makes the tool suitable for a range of container sizes, especially one gallon and one quart containers. The absence of a bottom surface connected to the blade members enhances the efficiency of the tool. By one or two simple hand rotations of the tool while the appropriate blade member is inside the container, virtually all of the adhesive material can be removed. The length of the blade members, their placement with respect to one another and the placement of an angulated rod connecting the blade members to the handle make use of the tool simple and effective.
