  • Patent number: 7926442
Abstract: A container is provided having a periphery and a base, which enclose a cavity. The periphery and the base are connected together, the periphery upwardly extending from the base. The periphery has a first slot and a substantially opposing second slot. Each of the first and second slots is sized to permit a first end of a tape located on a roll to be slid through it. A tape holder may be connected to the container so that the tape holder lies outside of the cavity of the container. The roll of tape can be placed on the tape holder so when the tape is pulled through the “mud box”, the tape is thereby unwound. As the tape is manually pulled through the “mud box”, joint compound is thinly applied to one side of the tape. As this is done, the joint compound begins to “adhere” to the tape, conditioning the tape for excellent wall adhesion.

  • Patent number: 7872188
Abstract: Determining a plurality of heart rate sections for an individual, and selecting a plurality of songs, wherein each of the plurality of songs has an average beats per minute approximately equal to an average beats per minute of one of the plurality of heart rate sections, and playing the plurality of songs in a sequence on a song playing device. The plurality of songs includes a middle song, which has an average beats per minute which is greater than the average beats per minute of all of the other songs of the plurality of songs. The plurality of songs includes one or more preceding songs which precede the middle song, and each of which has an average beats per minute which is less than the average beats per minute of the middle song. The plurality of songs includes one or more succeeding songs which succeed the middle song, and each of which has an average beats per minute which is less than the average beats per minute of the middle song.

  • Patent number: 7536978
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing pet food items comprising a cap and a body portion is provided. The body portion includes a first cylindrical section connected to a second cylindrical section by a transitional section. When the cap is attached to the first cylindrical section a chamber is formed inside of a combination of the cap, the first cylindrical section, the transitional section, the second cylindrical section, and the end piece, so that the only exit from the chamber is through an opening in the second cylindrical section. A plurality of pet treats or food items may be located inside of the body portion.

  • Patent number: 6278254
Abstract: An apparatus comprised of a processor, a display, and a current measuring device is provided. The current measuring device is adapted to measure the current in a first winding of a first stator of an alternating current motor. The processor causes a first message to be placed on the display if the current in the first winding of the first stator falls outside a first range of values. The first high value and the first low value can be stored in a memory device. The current measuring device may have two input ports, for measuring current in first and second windings of the first stator of the alternating current motor. The processor may cause a second message to be placed on the display if the current in the second winding of the first stator falls within a second range of values. A first relay device for selecting between a first start signal and a first run signal. During a start time period, the processor causes the first start signal to be transmitted to the first winding of the first stator.
