  • Patent number: 4744536
Abstract: Disclosed is a collapsable pole/stand device particularly adapted to be used to hold containers of medication for a patient so that the medication will flow under the force of gravity. The device includes a stand having inwardly collapsable legs which are mounted to a hub. Extending vertically from the central portion of the hub is a pole comprising a plurality of telescoping segments. These segments can be pulled outwardly from each other in an extended position to provide an elongated pole. Retainer members are used to secure the segments in the extended position. At the upper end of the pole is a hanger member which is secured to this end in a vertical position. At opposed end the hanger member has opened loops which enable the container to be attached to it.

  • Patent number: 4731186
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for treating a fluid to remove particles from the fluid and condition it so that scale is not formed on the piping or other structure carrying the fluid. A magnetic conditioning assembly and filter are disposed in a circulating system with the filter being upstream of the magnetic conditioner so that iron particulates are removed prior to accumulating on the surface of the conditioner. These iron particles are thus prevented from interfering with the function of the conditioner. The conditioner treats the water so that scale formation is reduced or eliminated and also prevents or reduces the formation of scale upon the filter element.

  • Patent number: 4725063
Abstract: Disclosed is a device used to practice putting including a putting station and a remote target station. The putting station comprises a mat on which two parallel rows of posts are provided which straddle parallel strips that serve as guides for the putting head. The number of posts in each row may be the same or different. If there is an unequal number of posts, an entry way and an exit way is provided through which the club head may be moved by the golfer when swinging at the ball. The target station includes a body member having two parallel ramps, separated by a vertical wall, which lead to a collector section. One ramp serves as an entry ramp and target. The other ramp serves as an exit ramp to allow the ball to move under the force of gravity from the collector section. The collector section includes a lip which acts as a stop to prevent the ball from rolling beyond the target station if it is moving at the desired speed, but will allow the ball to roll over it if it is moving at an excessive speed.

  • Patent number: 4701703
Abstract: An in-circuit test fixture for use in making a non-functional electrical inspection of individual components and/or circuit paths on a printed circuit board or wired backpanel assembly. The present in-circuit test fixture is cost effective and can be used when only small or moderate numbers of printed circuit boards have to be tested. The present test fixture eliminates the necessity for drilling holes in a support plate. Rather, a test head unit and a transition head unit are put together in modular fashion using assemblies which may be positioned in stacked arrays to provide a two-dimensional series of channels for support of pins to provide a test head for testing a two-dimensional product and to provide a two-dimensional series of channels for support of pins to provide a transition head for interconnection with an electronic circuit analyzer.
