    Abstract: A refrigerating counter for continuous cooling of bottles containing beverages comprises a cooling apparatus as well as means for supplying cold air to said bottles to be cooled. It is intended to offer the bottles more immediately for sale and to bring the bottles, from a "higgledy-piggledy" stacking rearmost within the cabinet, to move forwardly to a bottle take out place. The refrigerating counter comprises a plurality of vertically staggered drawers (10) for the accommodation of the bottles as a disorderly mass. The drawers (10) in the refrigerating counter (12) each has an upwardly open portion constituting the take out place for the bottles, at the front side of the counter (12). In order not to cover said take out place of one drawer by the overlying drawer (10) in a vertical column of drawers (10), the foremost, upper portion of each drawer (10) slopes downwardly/forwardly.

    Abstract: A refrigerator cabinet operated by an absorption refrigerating apparatus has a freezing compartment cooled by an upper part of an evaporator of the apparatus and a refrigerating compartment that is cooled by a lower part of the evaporator. The temperature in the refrigerating compartment is kept at a set value by activating or shutting off the refrigerating apparatus. The upper part of the evaporator is provided with a thermally conductive plate for cooling the freezing compartment. The temperature in the freezing compartment is kept at a set value by heat transfer to the plate. For example, a variable speed fan in the freezing compartment moves the air through a duct and past the plate. A film heater on the plate is used for defrosting and for controlling temperature in the freezing compartment.

This will enable the water purifier to operate at a required, high internal working pressure, while enabling the pressure of the purified water to be maintained at a maximum level limited by the water conduit system and to be varied in response to the water taken from the system in the absence of pulsations.

    Abstract: A method of producing a fluid purifier membrane module, sheets of membrane material are disposed in layers with intermediate spacer elements in a manner to obtain mutually alternating spaces for contaminated and purified fluid respectively. Mutually adjoining sheets of membrane material (12) are joined together in pairs in a manner to obtain membrane units (10) which include closed cavities (28). The membrane units (10) with associated spacer elements (18, 34) are arranged in a stack. The mutually facing outer surfaces of the membrane units are joined together in zones and in a fluid-tight fashion along at least one line (36) which extends through the walls of the membrane units. The membrane units are perforated along the line in a manner to obtain through the membrane units a passageway (32) which communicates with the cavities (28).

    Abstract: A valve comprises a valve seat member and a movable valve member (preferably a disc with at least one face coated with piezo electric material) movable towards and away from the seat to close and open the valve and a sealing element made from a resilient material and attached to one of the members. The sealing element possesses an initial deformable characteristic so that initial closure of the valve causes the seating element to substantially conform to the shape of the other member and retain the so-conformed shape. The sealing element comprises first and second springs of different resiliently formable characteristics, the second spring preferably being a ring of elastomeric material, and the first spring--after initial deformation of the sealing element--being rigidly adhesively secured to the valve seat member.
