Abstract: A screen assembly configured to be coupled to a partition panel such that a screen of the screen assembly is movable between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the partition panel. The screen assembly includes a bracket having a mounting portion directly securing the bracket to the partition panel and a guide portion coupled to the mounting portion and forming a generally U-shaped channel. A screen is movably received in the channel for guided movement between the retracted and extended positions.

Abstract: A machine that is operable to create a series of holes in at least one sheet of paper includes a base, a punch mechanism positioned on the base, and a tray coupled to the base. The tray includes a first guide and a second guide. The tray is configured to move between a first position and a second position. Movement of the tray between the first position and the second position adjusts a position of the first guide and a position of the second guide relative to the punch mechanism.
Abstract: The present invention provides a FM transmitter with Radio Data System (RDS) data transmission capability. In one embodiment, an RDS circuit is implemented in firmware. The firmware is configured in one or more stages to allow the RDS system to be integrated with a variety of FM transmission systems.
Abstract: A system of computer input devices, such as a keyboard and a mouse, is disclosed. The input device comprises a plurality of keys, a housing coupled to the keys, and a dock formed in the housing. The dock is configured to receive a second input device; and contains a mechanical coupling mechanism for temporarily coupling the second input device to the first input device via the dock.

Abstract: A stapler having a housing and a throat defined by the housing and configured to receive a stack of sheets for stapling. The throat separates the housing into a head portion and a base portion. A paper guide is coupled to the stapler, the paper guide being movable between a recessed position within the base portion and an extended position. Insertion of the stack of sheets into the throat does not cause movement of the paper guide.

Abstract: The present invention provides a sheet of partially-formed staple blanks, stacked sheets of partially-formed staple blanks, and a stapler for receiving the stacked sheets. Each blank defines a crown portion lying in a crown plane, a first leg portion connected to a first end of the crown portion and lying in a first leg plane forming an angle with the crown plane between about 5 degrees and about 50 degrees, and a second leg portion connected to a second end of the crown portion and lying in a second leg plane different from the first leg plane and forming an angle with the crown plane between about 5 degrees and about 50 degrees. The first leg portions of the blanks are attached to one another in the first leg plane, and the second leg portions of the blanks are attached to one another in the second leg plane.
Abstract: A powered stapler includes a housing and a stapling engine within the housing. The stapling engine includes a staple driving assembly and a rotational drive train operable to actuate the staple driving assembly. A stack height compensation mechanism is integrated with the rotational drive train of the stapling engine and is distinct from any portion of the housing. The stack height compensation mechanism is operable to enable the stapling engine to compensate for varying stack heights of sheets to be stapled by the powered stapler.
Abstract: A divider configured to separate a plurality of sheets in a document storage device. The divider includes a body portion configured to be placed between the plurality of sheets in the document storage device. A tab portion extends from the body portion, and the tab portion is configured to extend beyond an edge of the plurality of sheets. A sheet receiving feature is generally aligned with the tab portion and positioned on at least one of the body portion and the tab portion. The sheet receiving feature is operable to receive a portion of one of the plurality of sheets to couple the sheet to the divider.
Abstract: A stapler includes a base, a staple storage chamber coupled with the base, a staple pusher assembly positioned at least partially in the staple storage chamber, and a low staple indicator distinct from the staple pusher assembly and movable between a first position indicating the presence of a staple at a location in the staple storage chamber and a second position indicating the absence of a staple at the location in the storage chamber.
