  • Patent number: 7588425
Abstract: A reversible inflation system allowing a single pump to be used for both inflation and deflation of the air bladder. The present embodiment of the inflation system includes a motor and an impeller located within a housing having a diaphragm valve and a slide. Presently, the slide determines the direction of fluid flow through the housing, so that in a first position, the system causes fluid to flow into the bladder, and in a second position, the system causes fluid to flow out of the bladder.

  • Patent number: 6973690
Abstract: An inflatable pillow comprising a first layer comprising a top sheet of material and a bottom sheet of material welded together so as to form a plurality of chambers in fluid communication with each other. A second layer comprising a top sheet of material and a bottom sheet of material are also welded together so as to form a plurality of chambers in fluid communication with each other. The first and the second layers are welded together such that the first and the second layers are in fluid communication with each other at one or more openings in the first and the second layers.

  • Patent number: 6701559
Abstract: An increased height inflatable support system consisting of two or more vertically stacked chambers. Such a support system can have one or more stabilizer bars attached to said support system, to help keep said support system from rolling over. In addition, the present invention introduces the concept of using a support chamber to provide additional strength at junctions between said vertically stacked chambers. Additionally, fabric, padding, or flocking may be added to one or more surfaces of an upper chamber to improve overall support system comfort.
