Abstract: An applicator (10) for a cosmetic product is provided, which comprises: a first array of applicator elements fastened to a first elongated core (14) including a distal end (16) and a proximal end (18), the first array of applicator elements including free ends (20) defining a first applicator profile; a second array of applicator elements fastened to a second elongated core (24) including a distal end (26) and a proximal end (28), the second array of applicator elements including free ends (30) defining a second applicator profile; said first and second elongated cores (14, 24) being essentially rectilinear and arranged essentially side by side, and a connector (31) adapted to be fastened to the distal ends (16, 26) of the first and second elongated cores (14, 24) so as to bring the distal ends of the cores together.
Abstract: Container (1) designed to hold cosmetic products including a lid (10) typically equipped with an interior mirror (60) and a base (20) equipped with an intermediate support (30) with two faces, front and back, surrounded by a frame (31). The frame (31) of the intermediate support is equipped with a first attachment device (34) which cooperates with a second attachment device (23) positioned on the base so that, when the intermediate support is detached from the base, it remains part of the base due to the cooperation of the first and second attachment devices (34 and 23), and is able to pivot around the first attachment device. Preferably, the first attachment device (34) is a protuberance equipped with an end fold (33) and the second attachment device (23) is a hollow body capable of accommodating and containing the end fold. The two faces of the intermediate supports are advantageously equipped with a plurality of compartments.
Abstract: Bottle (101) for a cosmetic product containing a volatile solvent, especially for mascara, comprising an opening (106) and a rigid side wall (103) produced as a plastic moulding having an inside lateral surface in contact with said cosmetic product and an outside lateral surface (104) to which a label (100) is affixed, said label having barrier properties with regard to the volatile solvent. This label advantageously covers the entire outside lateral surface.
Abstract: The applicator (1) intended for the application of a cosmetic product, such as mascara, on a part (20) of the human body (2), has an axial direction (10) and is characterized in that it comprises a device (6) for transferring the cosmetic product towards the part (20) of the human body, the device (6) being manually operable and allowing to produce an electrical field when applying the cosmetic product. Advantages: facilitates transfer of the product during its application, improves the ergonomics of the application.
Abstract: An applicator for cosmetic products, typically mascara, comprising a brush made up of fibers trapped between two twisted arms extending in an axial direction and defining turns is characterized in that at least one of said turns is a turn that is not circular. More particularly, these turns describe noncircular ellipses. Such an applicator can be obtained by radial crushing of a standard type brush.
Abstract: A method for applying web material to a substrate object. Web material on a thermoformable sheet can be adhered to the shaped object with a heat-actuated adhesive in a vacuum thermoforming process.
Abstract: An overmolding process for a hollow receptacle provided with a neck, and an axial body with a shoulder a sidewall and a bottom, the hollow receptacle, having axial height H and larger cross-section S. When the mould is open, the neck bears in contact with an axial support so as to mask the neck during the overmolding process. Before closing the mold, the sidewall is placed in a lateral positioning device that can be moved along an axial direction of the mold. After the mold has been closed, the lateral positioning device is displaced in the axial direction as the material flow injected into the axial cavity and forming an annular flow.
