  • Patent number: 7398070
Abstract: A variable gain amplifying circuit includes a gate-grounded amplifying FET and a collector-grounded amplifying transistor. A gate voltage of the FET and a base voltage of the transistor are adjusted by a supplied AGC voltage. When an input RF signal has small amplitude, the gate voltage is increased by a high AGC voltage so as to increase a main current of the FET, thereby increasing a signal gain of the FET. When the input RF signal has large or medium amplitude, the gate voltage is decreased by a low AGC voltage so as to decrease a main current of the FET, thereby decreasing the signal gain of the FET.

  • Publication number: 20070160405
Abstract: There is provided a printer which can suppress the variations in rotation speed of a platen and the forwarding speed of a recording medium when a recording unit abuts on a platen through the recording medium. The printer of the present invention includes a platen, a recording unit, and a brake. The brake presses a friction member to a smooth side surface of a rotation gear fixed a rotation shaft of the platen from the time point before the recording unit abuts on the platen through the recording medium. Accordingly, the platen rotates while constantly receiving a braking force by the braking device. Therefore, even though the recording unit abuts on the platen and the rotation speed of the platen is varied, the pulsation of the platen is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 6806804
Abstract: The present invention provides a spin valve magnetic detecting element having large &Dgr;R. The positive or negative sign of the &bgr; value of a magnetic material constituting each of a first free magnetic sub-layer, a second free magnetic sub-layer and a pinned magnetic layer is defined so that the resistance values for spin-up conduction electrons are smaller than the resistance values for spin-down conduction electrons in all magnetic layers when magnetization of a free magnetic layer is changed to minimize the resistance value. In this case, the change &Dgr;R in resistance of the magnetic detecting element can be increased.

  • Patent number: 6700508
Abstract: A keyboard unit capable of making large the stroke of a key top and a sure click touch. In one aspect of the invention, the keyboard unit of the present invention comprises an elastic material such as a domed reversible return spring. In another aspect, a predetermined space is formed between a piezoelectric element and the base plate. The piezoelectric elements may extend underneath two support bodies from a first support body to a second support body. Each membrane switch and the return spring is depressed and reversed by a stem, wherein each of the piezoelectric elements is driven through the contact point of the respective membrane switch. The resulting driving force is transmitted to the respective key top through the stem. The stem is then elastically deformed and contracted by the inertia force pressing the key top to produce the stroke of the key top.
