Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte that contains acetonitrile having an excellent balance between viscosity and the dielectric constant and a fluorine-containing inorganic lithium salt, wherein the generation of complex cations comprising a transition metal and acetonitrile is suppressed, excellent load characteristics are exhibited, and increases in internal resistance upon repeated charge/discharge cycles are suppressed; a further purpose of the present invention is to provide a nonaqueous secondary battery. The present invention relates to a nonaqueous electrolyte which contains: a nonaqueous solvent comprising acetonitrile; a fluorine-containing inorganic lithium salt; and a specific nitrogenous cyclic compound typified by benzotriazole.

Abstract: Provided are a resin composition and shaped product having excellent low-temperature impact resistance, chemical resistance, and tracking resistance, and having rigidity enabling adoption for mechanism components and structures. The resin composition contains (a) a polyphenylene ether resin, and further contains: (b-1) a hydrogenated block copolymer, and/or modified product thereof, having a peak molecular weight of 80,000 to 200,000 and (b-2) a hydrogenated block copolymer, and/or modified product thereof, having a peak molecular weight of at least 10,000 and less than 80,000; and/or (c) an olefinic polymer formed from an olefin other than propylene. The (a) component forms a continuous phase, polymer block B has a glass transition temperature of ?50° C. or lower, the (c) component has a brittleness temperature of ?50° C. or lower, and the composition does not substantially contain (g) polypropylene resin and has a flexural modulus of 1,600 MPa or more as measured in accordance with ISO 178.
Abstract: Provided are a surface stress sensor that enables deterioration in measurement precision to be suppressed and a method for manufacturing the same. Abstract: A nitride semiconductor substrate includes a sapphire substrate and a nitride semiconductor layer formed thereon and containing a group III element including Al and nitrogen as a main component. A surface of the sapphire substrate where the nitride semiconductor layer is formed includes recesses having a maximum opening size of from 2 nm to 60 nm in an amount of from 1×109 pieces to 1×1011 pieces per cm2. The recesses and surfaces immediately above the recesses form spaces. Of a surface of the nitride semiconductor layer on the sapphire substrate side, a height difference ?H between a surface immediately above of each recess and a surface in contact with a flat surface is 10 nm or less. A portion of the nitride semiconductor layer above each recess has a crystalline structure produced by growth along a polar plane of the group III element.
Abstract: The object is to provide a lysis method, lysis treatment solution, detection method using an immunochromatographic device, and detection kit comprising an immunochromatographic device for detecting whether causative bacterium of mastitis is a staphylococcus or not by using milk of a livestock animal. There is provided a method for lysing a staphylococcus, which comprises the step of mixing a lysis agent containing a lytic enzyme, and at least one kind of ampholytic surfactant, and preferably further containing at least one kind of nonionic surfactant, with milk obtained form a livestock animal to lyse a staphylococcus existing in the milk. The lytic enzyme is preferably lysostaphin.

Abstract: A microporous membrane according to the present invention is a microporous membrane containing a copolymerized high density polyethylene and a high density polyethylene, wherein a content of an ?-olefin unit having 3 or more carbon atoms in the microporous membrane is 0.01 mol % or more and 0.6 mol % or less, and a viscosity average molecular weight of the microporous membrane is less than 300,000. In addition, a battery separator according to the present invention contains the above microporous membrane. Further, a battery according to the present invention contains the above battery separator.
