Abstract: The present disclosure provides seed and plants of downy mildew resistant Impatiens plants. The present disclosure thus relates to the plants, seeds, and tissue cultures of downy mildew resistant Impatiens plants, to methods for producing a downy mildew resistant plant of the present disclosure by crossing such plants with themselves or with another Impatiens plant, such as a plant of another genotype, variety, or cultivar, and methods of identifying downy mildew resistant Impatiens plants. The present disclosure further relates to seeds and plants produced by such crossing. The present disclosure further relates to parts of such plants. The present disclosure also relates to methods of identifying an Impatiens plant having resistance to downy mildew.
