  • Patent number: 11968107
Abstract: A method for determining a correctness of an actually received timestamp is provided. A communication network includes a master clock, a first ECU having a first slave clock, a validator having a second slave clock, and a first communication bus. The first ECU uses a first communication standard having a deterministic scheme. The method includes synchronizing, at the first ECU, a time of the first slave clock to a global time of the master clock, synchronizing, at the validator, a time of the second slave clock to the global time of the master clock, predicting, at the validator, a timestamp to be received in an actual communication cycle from the first ECU based on the deterministic scheme of the communication standard used by the first ECU, and comparing, at the validator, the predicted timestamp with the actually received timestamp from the first ECU.

  • Patent number: 11958366
Abstract: A device operates an electrical energy store for supplying components of an electrically operable motor vehicle, wherein operating limits are defined in each case for one or more characteristic variables of the energy store. A control unit prevents the operating limits from being exceeded during normal operation of the energy store. The device has an interface for receiving a user-side request message from an apparatus, the request message including change information about an intended shift in the operating limit of at least one of the characteristic variables.

  • Patent number: 11951559
Abstract: A method produces at least one defined connecting layer between two components, wherein the first component is produced from a first metallic material and the second component is produced from a second metallic material and the first and/or second component has a coating of a third metallic material, the melting temperature of which is lower than the melting temperature of the first and second materials. In this case, the coating of at least one of the components is heated locally to a connecting temperature, which lies above the melting temperature of the third material and lies below the melting temperature of the first material and below the melting temperature of the second material, and is cooled down in order to form a defined connecting layer when the coating solidifies.
