Abstract: An apparatus for mixing bone cement can comprise a receiving chamber, a mixing chamber, a cannula, a base, and a piston located within the mixing chamber. The receiving chamber defining a conduit. The mixing chamber in fluid communication with the receiving chamber. The mixing chamber configured to house a first component of the bone cement. The cannula located in the receiving chamber and in fluid communication with the conduit. The base including a bladder arranged to be punctured by the cannula, the bladder configured to house a second component of the bone cement. Upon puncturing of the bladder by the cannula the second component of the bone cement passes through the conduit and the cannula into the mixing chamber. The piston configured to seal the mixing chamber upon movement of the piston from a first position relative to the conduit to a second position relative to the conduit.
Abstract: Prosthetic systems, devices, and methods for attaching prosthetic joint components to a vault-shaped portion of the anatomy. A device for attaching a glenoid joint component for a shoulder prosthesis to a glenoid cavity includes a body adapted to extend into the cortical bony vault of the glenoid cavity for supporting the glenoid joint component and a plurality of contact arms secured to the body and projecting outwardly from a central longitudinal axis of the body to define contact surfaces for engaging an internal face of a peripheral wall of a glenoid vault.

Abstract: This adaptable humeral implant comprises an anchoring stem (1, 8) and a male insert (6) or a female insert (30, 31) which are able to cooperate with the glenoid cavity or a glenoid implant. It additionally comprises a removable support (5) intended to fit directly or indirectly to the upper end (3) of the anchoring stem (1, 8) and to cooperate with an intermediate neck (7), which is itself provided with means for cooperation with the male or female implant.
