The control panel console is pivotable in this configuration, and may be secured to the appliance by raising the front panel to fully insert the fingers into the apertures and fastening a bottom wall of the control panel to the appliance. Side walls of the control panel console may include tabs that are received into corresponding slots in a front surface of the appliance, providing an additional alignment and security feature.

Abstract: A door keeper, for keeping a door opening angle of a door within a predetermined angle, includes a hinge bracket attached to a support structure; a keeper plate having a bracket side end portion pivotally mounted to the hinge bracket, a door side end portion, and a keeper guide slot having a door side slot end portion disposed proximate to the door side end portion of the keeper plate, the keeper guide slot extending from the door side slot end portion to an opposite slot end portion disposed at a location between the bracket side end portion and the door side end portion of the keeper plate; and a keeper member movably disposed in the keeper guide slot and fixedly attached to a lower part of the door. An opening motion of the door stops when the door side slot end portion engages the keeper member.

Abstract: An ice maker assembly is disposed in the ice compartment of a refrigerator, the ice maker assembly including an ice maker tray/evaporator having an evaporator cooling tube which is in direct contact with an ice maker tray portion, and a tray temperature sensor for sensing a temperature of the ice maker tray portion. A controller is configured to control ice making, ice harvesting, and ice maintenance based on the temperature sensed by the tray temperature sensor. The tray temperature sensor is the only temperature sensor used to control ice making, ice harvesting, and ice maintenance. Alternatively, an additional temperature sensor can be disposed inside an ice maker assembly gear box for sensing a temperature of a housing of the gear box. In that case, the tray temperature sensor and the additional temperature sensor are the only temperature sensors used to control ice making, ice harvesting, and ice maintenance.

Abstract: A warming drawer insert is provided that can be situated into and removed from a warming drawer without tools via a series of flanges positioned along the walls of the warming drawer insert. These flanges also suspend the warming drawer insert in the warming drawer, and create an air gap to allow heated air to flow into the warming drawer through a series of vents positioned along the walls of the warming drawer. The warming drawer is also spill proof and prevents damage to the electric components of the warming drawer while also allowing for easy cleaning.

The heat shield is spaced from the back panel and forms an air gap between the back panel and the heat shield.
