Abstract: The present invention provides a pizza box having a lower compartment and a cover hingedly connected to the lower compartment for movement between open and closed positions, and a vented panel that is positioned in overlying relation to the upwardly facing surface of the lower compartment. The vented panel includes several holes formed therethrough. When a pizza or other food item is placed upon the vented panel and the cover is closed, any steam emanating from the food item will dissipate at least partially through the holes, and any condensation resulting from the steam will be absorbed by the lower compartment's bottom, thereby minimizing any moisture from being absorbed by the food product.

Abstract: A filter paper having a composition of softwood fibers in the range of about 50 to about 100 percent by weight, and synthetc fibers that are present in the range of about 0 to about 50 percent by weight. The softwood fibers can be divided between northern softwoods and southern softwoods. Pulp is present in an amount of about 95 to about 98 weight percent of the furnish.

Abstract: Two add-on cartons detachably attach to a four pack drink carrier to carry packages of foodstuffs in the add-ons, while beverage cups are carried in the four pack drink carrier. The add-ons are located on opposing sides of the primary drink carrier carton, disposed 180 degrees about its vertical central axis.

Abstract: A disposable holder for food that includes a separable component for grasping a food item previously contained within the holder during consumption by a user. The holder has separable upper and lower portions that include corresponding tabs for keeping the holder closed. One of the upper or lower portions includes a series of fold lines, such that the upper or lower portion may be folded around a food item after separated from the other portion.

When the punch-in device is punched in by a user, one of the fold lines is moved from: (i) a folded state at a location at a corner between two walls of the container to; (ii) an unfolded state at a location displaced from the corned toward the interior of the container.

All of the elements of the holder are integrally connected via folds for movement of the top, the first and second sides, and the first and second sections of said bottom between a first position, wherein the first and second sections of the bottom, the first and second sides, and the top extend along a common plane, and a second position, where the first and second sections of the bottom, the first and second sides, and the top are positioned to retain the beverage container.

Abstract: An insulated container comprises a sidewall formed with an outer layer, an inner layer, and a fluted layer located between the outer and inner layers. The fluted layer includes elongated flutes extending in a substantially lateral direction around the container. The inner layer comprises a paper layer arranged with its machine direction extending substantially perpendicular to the direction in which the flutes extend. The outer layer comprises paper that is capable of stretching sufficiently to accommodate an outer circumference of the container. Additional insulated containers and sidewalls having laterally extending flutes and methods therefor are further provided.

Abstract: A multi-compartment box comprising a compartment portion including two compartments with a divider therebetween, and a lid connected to the compartment portion by a hinge. The divider between the two compartments is arranged substantially normal to the hinge which connects the lid to the compartment portion of the box. The box is formed from a unitary blank of semi-rigid material.
