Abstract: A vibration isolation system (20) reduces vibrations produced by an operating electric motor (22). A motor retainer ring (24) fits into a motor retaining ring isolator (40) which is placed into a mounting surface opening (52) such that protrusions (48) contact a mounting surface (50). An upper motor cover (54) and a lower motor cover (60) are positioned to surround motor (22) while protruding ridges (62) space the interior surface away from motor (22). Fasteners (32) fit through retainer mounting holes (30) and attach to threaded holes (38) such that protrusions (58) of the upper motor cover (54) contact the mounting surface (50).

Abstract: A receiver-dryer for use in an air conditioning system utilizes desiccant bags that can be mounted within the receiver-dryer body without using mounting plates or baffles. The receiver-dryer includes an output tube having a retaining shoulder located thereon. In one embodiment, a desiccant bag includes a rigid eyelet that cooperates with the retaining shoulder to support the desiccant bag. In an alternate embodiment, the desiccant bag is supported by the retaining shoulder via a support washer.
Abstract: An internal mandrel assembly is provided that includes a cleaning attachment for cleaning the interior surface of a tube during a bending operation. The internal mandrel assembly includes a mandrel shank, a plurality of mandrel ball assemblies pivotally coupled to the mandrel shank in a linked configuration, a cleaning attachment pivotally coupled to the last mandrel ball assembly, and a locating rod that positions the mandrel shank within the tube. The internal mandrel assembly also cooperates with a lubricant pump and a lubricant collector. The cleaning attachment includes a wiper for cleaning the interior surface of the tube, a linking member, a first support washer, a second support washer, and a retaining shoulder.
